Hollywood is the place where dreams are made. Yet, it can also be the source of many nightmares as well. Many are surprised to learn of all of the tragic deaths that have been inflicted upon Hollywood celebrities. In this audiobook are some of the most shocking stories. Hollywood has long fascinated the masses. Not just with blockbuster films, but also by way of the Hollywood lifestyle. The lives of the rich and famous stars who strut down Sunset Boulevard hold us mesmerized. One can’t help but wonder about what being a celebrity must really be like.

Very Poorly Researched
Revisado: 06-24-22
Many easily fact-checked errors (Maria Cole was Nat King Cole’s widow, not his daughter: Natalie Wood’s second husband’s name was Richard (not Robert) Gregson, etc.) Many mispronounced names and words. Impossible to finish.

Historia
Catherine Oliphant writes for women's magazines and lives comfortably with anthropologist Tom Mallow - although she's starting to wonder if they'll ever get married. Then Tom drops his bombshell: He's leaving her for a 19-year-old student. Though stunned by Tom's betrayal, Catherine quickly becomes fascinated by another anthropologist, Alaric Lydgate, a reclusive eccentric recently returned from Africa. As Catherine starts to weigh her options, she must figure out who she is and what she really wants.

Narrator more suited to Barbara Cartland
Revisado: 09-21-20
It's jarring to hear Pym's grounded prose read in the style of a bodice-ripper. PLEASE replace this narrator. I would love to have the audios of her other books, but I can't listen to them read like this.
