Raising the Stakes!
Revisado: 06-29-23
I loved the progression of the story in book two! You are beginning to see what NSMZ is really capable of and Joshua’s true potential.
The one thing that didn’t seem as consistent is that if Joshua was so scared of Peter Yi why was NSMZ able to take him out so easily but it took them forever to bring Joshua in?
Overall loved it and I’m on to the next book!

Historia
Who am I? What am I? These questions have plagued Joshua since childhood. Mysterious amplified senses and boosted reflexes have helped him survive and thrive in a brutal, lawless megacity, and he leads the notorious Epitaph gang with keen street instincts. When Joshua’s unexplained abilities draw the attention of a covert government entity, he finds himself on the run. Only his skills, street smarts, and a rogue hacker named Shelby keep him one step ahead of his relentless hunters. They know what he is. They know who he is, and they will tear apart a megacity to bring him in.

Fun Sci-fi!
Revisado: 01-18-23
This is a fun action packed sci-fi story. X-men meets Blade Runner. Joshua the main character is fun to follow through the run down future streets. The story draws you in and leaves you wondering what is going to happen next. I’m interested to see what side Joshua chooses.

I will be honest I wasn’t sure where this series was going after the Bands of Mourning. Nothing was adding up for me. However, The Lost Metal brings satisfying closer to so many missing links and ends the era with a BANG!
The Allomancy Western was a fun ride and now I’m even more drawn into the Cosmere and the cataclysmic clash that is forming. I can’t wait to see how Allomancy evolves in era 3. Hemalurgic super solders vs Radiants? I can’t wait to find out. The best part is that with Sanderson I know I will find out because he doesn’t stop writing. Keep it up Sanderson!
