Historia
There are eight words Meg Moore has never been able to forget: the United States refuses to negotiate with terrorists. But what was merely a chilling warning when she worked as a translator in a European embassy now spells out a potential death sentence for her daughter and grandmother, who have been kidnapped by a lethal group called the Extremists. Meg has to act - and quickly. Going against everything she was taught, she will now do anything to meet their unspeakable demands; anything to save her child.

Too much back and forth
Revisado: 01-30-17
Where does The Defiant Hero rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
In the middle
Have you listened to any of Patrick Lawlor and Melanie Ewbank ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes. The performance is very good.
Any additional comments?
The author tends to go back in history, then into the present, then into history, then into the present. This goes on and on throughout the book. It really distracts from the storyline.

Since Jet’s used to solving everyone’s problems she doesn’t want Eddie’s help.

Rockin' Rock Chick Book
Revisado: 04-30-15
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would recommend the entire Rock Chick series.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I loved, loved, loved, Tex. His "booming" kept me laughing throughout the book.
What about Susannah Jones’s performance did you like?
The narrator did a great job of distinguishing each of the characters. She did a great job of conveying the emotions of the characters.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
All of the interruptions...“I don’t get a taste of you soon, I’m givin’ up the search and takin’ you to my cabin in Grand Lake. No phones, no cell coverage, no buzzer. Anyone knocks on the door and I’m shooting them.”

Historia
Early in her life, Josephine Malone learned the hard way that there was only one person she could love and trust: her grandmother, Lydia Malone. Out of necessity, unconsciously and very successfully, Josephine donned a disguise to keep all others at bay. She led a globetrotting lifestyle on the fringes of the fashion and music elite, but she kept herself distant. While Josephine was trotting the globe, retired boxer Jake Spear was living in the same small town as Lydia.

I love Kristen Ashley
Revisado: 04-30-15
What made the experience of listening to The Will the most enjoyable?
Before anything else, I just want to say -- AWESOME!!!
What other book might you compare The Will to and why?
Only a Kristen Ashley book can be compared to a Kristen Ashley book. The closes to this one that I have read to date is Jagged. It doesn't have all of the kidnapping, mayhem, etc.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The epilogue was epic. Made me cry.
Any additional comments?
Jake Spear is my perfect man. He may be a strip club owner with three children and just as many ex-wives, but he was the perfect man for Josie. He's rough around the edges but, at the same time, gentle and very loving. His kids were his priority, as they should be. The perfect KA alpha. I loved how he was with Josie. He knew how to treat her, how to handle her.
