My road to Emmaus

Even before arriving at the last chapter of this book, I paused and took a video to record some of my thoughts, one of which was that this book was my road to Emmaus. My heart has been on fire since opening up this book and the way that Brant Pitre unveiled the Eucharist through Jewish tradition and connections to the Old Testament completely transformed the way that I will experience that sacrament for the rest of my life. I firmly believe that this is one of the most important books outside of the Bible itself that I have ever read.

Engaging stories, sound business advice

This book contains engaging stories, real life examples of business advice that many books only speak of conceptually. I appreciated the vulnerability and the insight into how decisions are made at the top of such a large organization.

This business fable was beautifully written. It is an engaging story that we can all relate to, and it is the perfect length to cover all the concepts without dragging on. If you are interested in better self-awareness, practical takeaways, and relating better with others, then this is the book for you!

I just finished reading Can't Hurt Me by David Goggins and then immediately started this book. Having his mindset and then listening to Jesse Itzler maximized the comedic effect - I would highly recommend both books to anyone.

I am sure that other reviews say this, but this audible purchase is a must! The back-and-forth commentary with the podcast, the additional stories with the radio show, and the content that lives in this book could change your life.

This is one of if not THE most important book I’ve ever read. Many of these books start to sound the same, but this book is a breath of fresh air. Note to readers: as amazing as this book is, the resources section provided zero value and came across as an advertisement for other books from this company. Despite that, I still give this book a perfect rating

Even if you’ve seen the TED talk

I began reading this book as a skeptic, thinking that there would be nothing else to game after having watched Carol Dweck’s TED talk. The stories/examples from this book really opened my eyes to the depth of this topic. This book is a GAME CHANGER, and I can already tell that this will be the book that I gift more than any other.
