You know the narration is good when you forget that only one person is playing all the characters. I enjoyed this series so much more than Court of Thorns. There were times when the author would bring in so many characters that I'd get confused (ADHD), but the character development was so good that I was able to get it straight very quickly. The relationships as well as the action scenes were so gripping that I actually shed happy and sad tears throughout the story. I highly recommend reading this series!!

Astrid's character was so badass in book 1 that I was so happy to see her character develop even more in this volume. The story line was riveting and the way the author describes the lavishness of these billionaires of China was downright hilarious. Nice work!
