Despite me not liking a woman reading to me, I quickly grew used to, and even greatly appreciated her reading of the book.

The book itself is written incredibly well. Mature without being boring.
If this is whatbthe rest of the series has in hold, then I'm sure it will be the best Pendragon tale I've ever heard/read.

Don't be a fool, get it!

I hate those nether op fools. the only good one was recruited by Goth. That's another story though.

On another note, maybe consider leaving RC Brays hiccups in the story.

Best Performance

Wow. Luke Daniels made this book come alive as it should. I love hearing RC Bray, Ray Porter, and Stephen Lang. all great narrators that bring out the gruff of the story. But Luke Daniels range for voices was absolutely amazing. Best performance of them all in my opinion. although, they are all in my hall of fame. as always, a great story. but even better cause if you read all the other books, this one opened up the doors you never knew existed. I would say in the top 3 best of the series. Death to the Republic.

Nick Cole did an awesome job narrating his own novel. Not sure that any voice actors could have done better. Like most great books, I was sorry that it ended. Don't waste your time wondering if it's worth it, it is.

Do not hesitate to start this series. it is everything star wars ever wanted to be. Unapologetically real in its future fantasy. Kick your sci-fi into gear with storytelling from people who know how to KTF.

Quite frankly one of the best performances yet.
I've read series with Ray Porter and RC Bray.
RC Bray has been my favorite so far with his gravely voice. But I have to say that Mark Boyett makes you feel every little bit of emotion, even if his characters all have the same voice.

The writing is beyond great. The ability of these authors to portray each character without giving a detailed background is amazing. Do not hesitate to grab this book. it may very well be the best one in the series. Also, much like Gran Torino, be prepared to try and keep from sniffling. It's that good.

Sounds like it was read by an automated answering machine. I can't say how well the information provided by the book was to my enlightenment seeing as I couldn't digest any of it because of the monotony with which it was delivered. from what I was able to listen to though, seemed pretty darn obvious anyhow.
