Historia
Two years ago, Dr. Gina Brady broke Thomas Prescott’s heart, but now her panic-stricken satellite phone call starts it beating again with a fury. Thugs kidnapped the good doctor from the remote jungle village where she was working, and now the retired homicide detective’s expert skills are desperately needed to save her. Led by a colorful, but perhaps untrustworthy local guide, Prescott journeys deep into the Bolivian Amazon, plunging into a world where the only thing more dangerous than the gun-toting drug traffickers and the ruthless tribesmen, is the jungle itself.

The book is very intriguing being true to Bolivian geography but most interesting, forward looking to possible curers from forgotten peoples and cultures in the America's.

Residentes of Bolivia
Revisado: 12-31-20
My wife and I enjoyed your novel. We've been to most of the places mentioned; nice to hear Bolivia as a primary focus of a place where Paititi is thought be . The word the Quechuas could also use is "Titipaya" paya meaning - place- and titi meaning-- shining, silver or gold. The lake on the altiplano boardering on both Peru and Bolivia is called "Titicaca" which should be more corrector pronounced "Titicocha" meaning --silvery lake.
We live, and are retirado in, the valley of "Cochabama" . In pri-spanish times the Incas probably called it by the name of their god "Wiracocha" or Wiracochabamba--the god having power over wind and water.

Historia
Centuries ago, Spanish conquistadors searching for gold and new lands encountered a group of independent city-states in Mesoamerica. Sophisticated beyond the Spaniards' wildest imaginings, these people were the Aztecs, the Maya, and related cultures that shared common traditions of religion, government, the arts, engineering, and trade. In many ways more advanced than European nations, these societies equaled the world's greatest civilizations of their time.

The plot was very real, the performance of the narrator was excellent. Can't find words to express how profound the subject drew me into the enterweavings of how the Justus system can be as hurtful as liberating.
