To say this completely changed my outlook on the brain is an understatement

How do I even begin with this book. It’s so mindblowingly interesting with the content and the studies and it’s presented in such an entertaining and captivating way, I highly recommend this book. In fact, I think I’m going to start it again now.

A fun story, with an awesome narrator

I wouldn't necessarily consider myself a common patron of the romance-esque stories, but I found I really enjoyed this story. The characters are all really well developed and the story takes you on quite a fun journey. I thought the narrator was excellent, his portrayal of each characters was very distinct, and each character was unique. At one point, he spoke perfect French, and had I not known it was the same narrator, I'd have certainly confused him for a native speaker of French. Check out this story!

Nick Podehl kills it!

I know a lot can, (and definitely has been) said about this book from an author and literature standpoint, but let's talk about the stellar performance of Nick Podehl here. I love the atmosphere and energy he brought into each character and encounter. The accents, the rhythms, everything he brought into this story truly accented the words of the author. I particularly loved Hafiz, the merchant.

Definitely recommend!

I enjoyed the sequel story here, Both new and old characters face some challenges, but find ways to overcome. If you are into romance or sport books, look no further!

this book is extremely intelligently written, but allows for little pieces of humor to be thrown in there to keep it entertaining. It is a phenomenal outlook on life and anybody could benefit by reading this!

captivating and immersive!

this is the first book that I have listen to that utilizes a full cast as well as sound effects and music. It is done in such a way that it completely immerses you in the story, as if I were watching it on TV! Absolutely brilliant!
