Historia
In 1979, the gruesome slaying of a thirteen-year-old boy riveted the suburbs of Suffolk County, New York. As the county hustled to bring the case to a dubious resolution, a wayward local teenager emerged with a convenient story to tell. For his cooperation, Jimmy Burke was rewarded with a job as a cop. Thus began Burke’s unlikely ascent to the top of one of the country’s largest law enforcement jurisdictions. He and a crew of likeminded allies utilized vengeance, gangster tactics, and political leverage to become the most powerful and feared figures in their suburban empire.

Not all cops are bad, but this one was exceptionally BAD!
Revisado: 11-19-23
Gus Garcia-Roberts delivers an epic and well-detailed description of a once teenage hoodlum who grew up to become the Chief of one of the largest, and best paid, suburban police departments in the U.S. Garcia-Roberts takes the reader behind the curtain with dozens of sources who knew James Burke (aka “Jimmy the King”) and his ensemble of “palace guards”, his trusted gatekeepers within the Suffolk County PD and DA’s office. Any Long Islander or member of law enforcement should read this well written, and told, book. I would love to see a film made from this script.

In time for the 2020 presidential election, Anonymous returns to expand on their "must read" (Time), number-one best-selling behind-the-scenes "scathing portrait" (USA Today) of the Trump presidency with new words of warning for Americans everywhere.

More Than A Warning; A Time To Act
Revisado: 12-16-19
"A Warning" by Anonymous should be mandatory reading for anyone who calls themselves American. It is written by a source deep inside the Trump White House, who identifies him/herself as "the steady state" - basically one who wants to see the Trump Presidency succeed, but tries in vain to step in to save Donald J. Trump from himself, and the United States of America in the process. The book factually unfolds the back stories of the famous and infamous moments of the Trump Presidency that only one with such knowledge would know. Narrator Robert Fass speaks the voice of "Anonymous" in a steady convincing tone for this front row, fly-on-the-wall account of The Trump White House and how its staff walks on eggshells, most days. It is neither a Pro nor "Never Trumper" book. Just one "senior official's" observations. You the reader/listener shall decide. Very informative and entertaining.

Historia
On June 6, 2015, inmates Richard Matt and David Sweat escaped from Clinton Correctional Facility, New York State's largest maximum security prison. The media was instantly obsessed with the story: aided by a prison seamstress who smuggled hacksaw blades, chisels, and drill bits inside the facility via a vat of raw hamburger meat, the two convicted murderers sliced their way through steel cell walls, meandered through a maze of tunnels, climbed out of a manhole, and walked off into the night.

Gripping Thorough Account From A Journalist On Scene
Revisado: 03-26-19
I knew about the Wild Escape from Clinton Correctional by 9am Saturday June 5, 2015. Most members of the public and the media had no clue until well after 3-4pm that day. I was supposed to join the Governor at the Belmont Stakes that day. Instead, he flew up to Dannemora and missed the first Triple Crown winner since 1979. I too flew up to Dannemora and saw Ms. Marcius. Chelsia’s dogged reporting and ability to personally meet with one if the escapees, on numerous occasions, paints the truest and most accurate picture down the smallest detail. This is a great book for long drives between Albany and New York City.
