Amazing story of the history of humans
Revisado: 02-04-23
Wonderfully told story of how we came to be. Loved the level of science mixed with storytelling. The majority was science but mixed with the story, the history of humanity. Most enjoyable book I’ve listened to in a long time. Thank you.

If you like dinosaurs then this is for you.
Revisado: 02-05-19
The narrator is amazing. The writing is superb. I have loved dinosaurs since I was very little and now that I’m 50 I still love indulging in them. I learned so much and was kept rapt by the writing and delivery of this book. It was so good.

Historia
Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he's alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. Chances are, though, he won't have time to starve to death. The damaged machinery, unforgiving environment, or plainold "human error" are much more likely to kill him first.

Great Story!
Revisado: 07-08-15
I found the characters good. I only took exception with Cinder at the beginning because of her lack of self confidence and great naïveté but then maybe I should remember how it was when I was young and stupid. I enjoyed the story so much I bought the next three. It's like fairytale science fiction.

Would you listen to Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter again? Why?

I loved the intertwining of history and fiction.
Which scene was your favorite?
The ending.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It was fabulous. I cried, I laughed, I was enthralled and in a couple small spots I got a little bored.
Any additional comments?
