I really enjoy all the Veronica Speedwell books. The stories are just plain fun and the narrator is brilliant. I haven't enjoyed a series this much since Amelia Peabody read by the master narrator, Barbara Rosenblat. More please!!

Liked the story, hated the narrator
Revisado: 04-03-21
Through all the previous Gareth & Gwen novels I wanted a different narrator. Well I got my wish but not in a good way. This narration is so slow paced I thought I'd scream. His use of proper welsh pronunciation would be appealing if he didn't pause before every welsh word. I liked the story but can't listen to this guy again.

Historia
Bo Tully is the sheriff of Blight County, Idaho, where law enforcement is usually pretty mundane: tracking down truants running away from school, picking up country boys who've had a few too many beers. But Tully gets a little more than the country norm when an ex-con calls with the startling news that there's a corpse draped across one of his fences.
