This should be required reading for high school civics classes. I often questioned Obama’s reasons for decisions he made throughout his presidency. He answers all of them. While I can imagine some won’t agree with his ultimate decisions on many issues, hearing his justifications for actions he took and those he did not enhanced my respect for the man and his character.

How to answer critics

This book is example of how to respond to public accusations and criticism. The writers respond to the years of public defamation and countless public statements from prominent public leaders calling them dishonest and unethical. Using publicly available sources and documentation, the writers lay out a well researched retelling of events surrounding Trumps election to the presidency and their Republican and Democratic funded efforts to investigate Trump’s well documented shady financial history. I’d love to read a book that provides so much evidence and transparency from those that find themselves seemingly rightfully so in the Fusion crosshairs.

The course is fascinating, but there are many visual aides that make listening while driving or whatever really difficult when you can’t be viewing the slides.

Reading Pietrzyk’s ‘Silver Girl’ is like watching Bryce Harper slug a mammoth home run. Crazy talent,honed by years of practice, delivering a jaw-dropping hit. Like the great baseball player, this writer has swagger. Instead of a bat flip and the slow jog around the bases, Pietrzyk sprinkles literary nuggets through out ‘Silver Girl’ to remind readers of her talent and make it impossible to leave this story behind.

Hooked this Reader for 16 Hours

Willa joins one of my other all-time favorite narrators—Scout Finch (To Kill a Mockingbird). Multiple narrators add a powerful dimension to the theme that history is shaped by the individual, family, or culture who shares the story. Well done, Annie Barrows.
