ok, but not great
Revisado: 07-30-24
The dialogue was stilted, artificial. The performance was lacking. I read time travel books but this was a stretch. i did finish it.

Writing and narration could use some help
Revisado: 04-23-24
The beginning was a struggle, writing was basic (high school level?) and narration didn't help at all. Descriptions of clothes and slow narration just dragged on. But, then it picked up and I decided to continue. It was entertaining.

Unnecessary political views inserted into story
Revisado: 03-30-24
The books are OK, entertaining, easy reads. BUT - the politics discussed played no part in the story line, don't know why the author decided they were needed. I won't read anymore books by this author.

Historia
The death of a ninety-year-old woman with a heart condition should not be suspicious. Detective Sergeant Harbinder Kaur certainly sees nothing out of the ordinary when Peggy’s caretaker, Natalka, begins to recount Peggy Smith’s passing. But Natalka had a reason to be at the police station: while clearing out Peggy’s flat, she noticed an unusual number of crime novels, all dedicated to Peggy. And each psychological thriller included a mysterious postscript: PS: for PS.

Good story, great characters, good performance. Only one problem, when a character is on a phone the volume drops to a whisper, by the time you turn up the volume it is over.

Ugh, story line and performance not for me
Revisado: 03-19-21
It is a canned time travel romance, and not that great. The story is bland, characters actions are too predictable. No rich detail of the time period, the landscape, or the characters. The performance makes me wince, overdone accents, ouch!

Historia
Jessie's new life adjustment is well underway. The tough alpha Austin has joined her team, and she has painstakingly learned to fly. Life is going a-okay. That is, until her parents decide to visit.... They don't know anything about magic, about Jessie's new digs, or about the crazy crew living in and around Jessie's house. She must do everything in her power to keep the truth away from them. Which would be much easier without the unfelt presence lurking within Ivy House's borders. It seems an enemy has figured out a way to magically bypass Ivy House's defenses.
