The narrator. Don't they have a mute button or something so I don't have to hear her licking her lips/opening her dry mouth/taking a drink?!?!?!
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

How did the narrator detract from the book?
The narrator ruined this story. Everytime I had to hear her open her dry mouth I wanted to throw my phone across the room.

What made the experience of listening to Lying with Strangers the most enjoyable?
The story was good, but it would be better as a book and not having to listen to the constant swallowing of the narrator.
