This book is great at making the reader feel that it is easy to train their brain to believe that they are successful. The message in this book and other's by the author teach you that simple words and changes to your mind set can have a life changing affect on you.

While this book is not introducing a weight loss plan, it does introduce the reader to a plan that can help lower high blood pressure. This book provides a great introduction to a way to cook healthier foods with a lower sodium content. Along with explanations as to what foods can be the most nutritious in this diet, it also provides several recipes with delicious sounding foods to get you started.

I wasn't sure how an audio version of a diet plan book was going to be when I first began listening to it. It turned out to be very insightful. The author not only provides some great sounding recipes that fit the plan, but they also provide reasoning and benefits to the food types focused on during the Mediterranean diet. The best part is they suggest substitutes for both unhealthy food cravings you might have, and for fast food menu items. I can't wait to start cooking some of these recipes.

While this book might use a few terms here and there that you are not familiar with, this book describes the minimistic lifestyle in a way that everyone can follow. Prior to listening to this book, I knew very little about minimalism other than that it entails suriving off of the bare minimum. This book delved deeper by explaining the steps and benefits of obtaining such a lifestyle. However, the writer also understands that this type of lifestyle may not be for everyone. He explains that minimizing does not have to be an all in process and provides everyday tips to cut expenses as a first step to unclutter your life. I appreciated his understanding of those of us who may need to take baby steps towards a lifestyle change.

In today's hectic society, these tools to finding inner peace can be life changing. With a soothing voice narrating, it was easy to relax and let the words almost entrance me. Life is stressful and I have found myself, at times, feeling a lack of confidence or letting stress get me down. This book has opened my eyes to ways that I can release my burdens and force myself to both believe in myself and the world around me through inner dialogue and affirmations. It lays these lessons out in an easy to understand format in a way that makes achieving inner peace seem obtainable and desirable.
