Ego driven "self help" nonsense.

This book is caught somewhere between ego-driven self-help and a tabloid. I found the chimes with their self-reflective exercises annoying as hell. Her life isn't something to be held as an example of a success so why would she think she is qualified to help anyone on a spiritual or meaningful level?
Never mind the salacious Tupac who wanted to marry her while he was in prison, Will and her being separated for almost a decade, affairs, trips down the psychedelic drug trips bordering on religious fervor... She also spoke about poor parenting without the input of her children's father.
Do you want the most interesting parts of this book? She spoke about how it was a great idea to let her son move out at the age of 15. He was "feeling his rain". Or how she went on a hike with Willow. Stood on the edge of a cliff overlooking the water. Willow had an intrusive thought and JUMPED off the cliff. Barely able to pull herself back to shore, but it was fine, she was "feeling the rain".
My advice is to save your credit. Eventually, it will be in the plus catalog, if you feel like you need to listen then go for it. Almost everything in this book can be learned from the many interviews she did before the book's release.

Really tough listen

This is a book that is not for everyone. It isn't a watered down account of crimes. If you are not in a mindset to be able to listen to brutal accounts of nearly every abuse a human could live through and die of, skip this book. It is brutal on the soul. This book is proof that monsters live in this world, the justice system is rarely just, and human beings are the most cruel animals that have ever evolved on this planet.

In 1995 I was diagnosed with with an ovarian cyst the size of a tangerine. It was painful as hell. Prescription after prescription for Oxycontin was written. I was on it until 2001 when I began to think of them as a problem. I stopped cold turkey. Thankfully my story stopped there. It's 2019 and I have family friends who have died from over dose. I have family members who are still using. I have one family member thriving in MAT. All of their stories start with a pill. I had no idea this issue was that wide spread or documented.

Brilliantly performed. The voice actress kept me engaged. The story itself started very much normal than took a drastic dip into fantasy out of nowhere. Interesting to say the least.
