The fact that Ari's best friends get drug into hell with her, is odd to me. Especially for a transgender person who needs certain medications to stay the way he wants too. Let's face it Ari sleeps with a fey guy. Then she sleeps with someone she assumes is Fen. With all the glamours going around, why did they just assume that the baby is Deans?

Lots of action and secrets buried deep revealed.

This one was full of action. Ari learns her true heritage. She is taken to her real home. However, all she can think about is Fin. Asher is as smug as ever while he tries to woo Ari & convince her she should marry him. According to him & his father Asher is best candidate for king. I'm still suspicious of Lucian & Asher's intentions. Especially when you listen to the cliffhanger ending. Will it sway your predictions as well?

Loved the vampire/demons.

I didn't like the male voice that was narrating. It would have been better with only the female. I have heard her before, she's really good. The story itself is something new and fresh for me. However I didn't care for her best friend. I am not a fan of transgender and will probably get flack for this. That being said the rest of the story was good. I loved Fin. Not to happy with Asher. And I can't wait to hear the explanations in the next book.
