Historia
I Don't Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist argues that Christianity requires the least faith of all worldviews because it is the most reasonable. The authors lay out the evidence for truth, God, and the Bible in logical order and in a readable, non-technical, engaging style. A valuable aid to those interested in examining the reasonableness of the Christian faith, Geisler and Turek provide a firm challenge to the prior beliefs of doubters and skeptics.

sorry but the performer sounds terrible
Revisado: 12-15-19
Okay, so I saw the positive reviews, but I am not sure how anyone can get past the very bad sounding voice actor.
"WIND CHARM!" in a very corny voice. Did this guy even listen to himself?
Okay, the story is pretty good though.
I did find a trick. I turned the speed to 1.25 and the voice actor doesn't sound as bad. I couldn't finish the book though. The story is so boring.
Sorry Kevin Kraft, but you need to work on your voice acting.

Historia
In Aristotle and an Aardvark Go to Washington, our two favorite philosopher-comedians return just in time to save us from the doublespeak and flim-flam of politics in America.
Deploying jokes as well as the occasional insight from Aristotle and his peers, Cathcart and Klein explain what politicos are up to when they state: "The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence"; "It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is"; or even, "We hold these truths to be self-evident...."

not as good as plato and a platapus
Revisado: 12-13-19
Not as good as their other book and not nearly as funny. Seems like they could of used a little more balance in their perspective as well.

so funny
Revisado: 12-10-19
It started off boring, but after awhile it has a lot of great jokes and I feel like I learned a little. Of course, I don't think I could score high on any philosophy tests. It did feel like it gave me a little info while not being boring.

I really liked it. I would say it is simple but real straight forward. I like this style personally. wish more people wrote this way. it has heart and soul. feels like it was written by a human instead of a robot.

Historia
In ancient days, sorcerers sought to learn the One True Spell that would give them power over all the world and understanding of all magic.... The One True Spell was a woman, and her name was Mystra - and her kisses were wonderful. It is the time before Myth Drannor, when the Heartlands are home to barbarians, and wicked dragons rule the skies. In these ancient days, Elminster is but a shepherd boy, dreaming of adventure and heroics. When a dragon-riding magelord sweeps down upon him, though, the boy is thrust into a world of harsh realities, corrupt rulers, and evil sorcerers.

I liked this a lot. Seems like getting something that is informative and easy to listen to is hard for me today so I appreciate the writing style. At first the the speakers voice was a little annoying but after awhile it made sense with the material.
