The stories told are so great- so many learning points and applications to business, relationships, and life- which Jocko and Leif point out clearly. Last chapter on discipline was my favorite- but really this book is one of my favorites overall. Love that it's the real authors reading- makes it that much better.

Timeless insight

Definitely a 5 star book. The principles shared within are not exactly spelled out- but acted out- you learn them through tens of stories that are recounted. Also the language is more elaborate than our modern way of speaking- which was interesting to hear. And the readers voice is so easy and reassuring. That's probably the best part.
Bottom line is if you want people to like you and not roll their eyes or scold you behind your back- this teaches how to properly treat people. Great for anyone who wants less stress in their dealings with other humans.
