The book may have been much better if it did not demonstrate a basic principle of statistics so well... the impact of survey bias on statistics. If the author stopped injecting political perspectives into the book it may have been tolerable.

Many similar books I have read lately have the same approach, the author has a great sentence or two...now let’s write a book around it to justify the cost of distribution.
I am very glad Steve Jobs did not rub for political office as evidenced by so many authors retelling his was the invention of everything that is good in Cupertino, and bad in Redmond. Ugh,

Another good book ruined by the authors last chapter

A great book about current Canadian culture and how recent politics (last 75 years) have defined the cultural changes. Great book and like many others I’ve read over the past 4-8 years are ruined by the authors political diatribe at the end. It was really good, up until that point.
