Believe it or not the moral of the story helped my own mental health to stop dwelling on the bad choices and events and start seeing the good. I understand one must deal with past trauma but I can move on. I really enjoyed this book.

Great storyline. I ran out of credits so I’m trying Audible Plus and this was a great listen. Good twists and turns. Just enough romance and intriguing plot.

The audiobook doesn't do too much good without a PDF for charts. A LOT of chart reading. Very disappointing but I was on a road trip and didn't read the contents, my bad.

Menu Suggestions Have Very High Oxalate Foods

Some of the food suggestions are very high in oxalates so be careful. I always find it interesting that doctors do not know about high oxalate foods and the damage that they do to the body. That doesn't mean the menu can't be replaced with low oxalate foods. I also wonder if high oxalate foods were researched by the author and the damage they do, if she would alter her food suggestions or would stay dogmatic with her suggestions and menu. A few of her suggestions of high oxalate foods include dark chocolate, cocoa, sweet potatoes, almonds (milk, nuts & butter), raspberries, blackberries, chia seeds, spinach, carrots, celery, turmeric, cinnamon, beans and tomatoes just to name a few. Not every "diet" is perfect and these foods can be replaced with a comparable low oxalate food or spice. Having said all of that, I will definitely give this lifestyle a good six months and see if it helps.
