Little slow to start, great narrator
Revisado: 10-21-22
Narrative was significantly better than 2 previous books. Ken Kilian does a fantastic job.
Story was slow to get moving. Almost stopped listening at one point but glad I finished.
Curious to see where the next books are going to take Mitch now that he's out of the field.

Historia
CIA counterterrorism operative Mitch Rapp falls prey to government forces with an agenda of their own after Dr. Irene Kennedy is named the successor to dying CIA Director Thomas Stansfield—a choice that enrages many inside the world’s most powerful intelligence agency. Her detractors will resort to extreme measures to prevent her from taking the reins—which makes Rapp an expendable asset. But Mitch Rapp is no one’s pawn, and he will stop at nothing to find out who has set him up.

A lot of little issues with the book
Revisado: 10-12-22
For someone to write a book of this caliber, you would think they would understand the difference between a CLIP and a MAGAZINE.
They are NOT interchangeable. Its not that hard to Google the differences. And your target audience for books of this nature know the difference.
Also, it is NOT an assault rifle. Regardless of what all the liberal politicians say, there is no such thing and it is grammatically incorrect to say so.
Also, the book had constant pauses throughout the whole story. The narrator would read and mid-sentence it would go blank for a second or two and it would pick up again. I dont believe any of the story was missed, but it was just really distracting.
Narrator was good, although I like the narrator from the first book better.
Overall, good book but could be better.
Will continue listening to the remainder of the series but will cringe everytime the word "clip" or "assault rifle" is used.

Jim Dale is the Best of the Best!
Revisado: 08-09-22
The story is great as we all know but the narration by Jim Dale makes this book read aloud more like a movie that you are listening to rather than watching. Perfect in every way.

Keller's a hit man. For years now, he's had places to go and people to kill. But enough is enough. He's got money in the bank and just one last job standing between him and retirement. So he carries it out with his usual professionalism, and he heads home, but guess what?

Very good story, the BEST narrator!
Revisado: 09-08-21
First off, Blocks last book he narrated himself and it was terrible. I couldn't tell who was saying what as all the voices sounded the same. Mr Richard Poe on the other hand was the best I've heard to date. Each character had their own "voice" and I was able to follow so much easier and able to get into the book more. Well done sir, excellent job!
As for the story, the story line was good and generally well written. I did enjoy this book very much.
However, with all the research that goes into this book on various topics covered the author should really do more research on weaponry. The author referred to a handgun as an "automatic" and that it had a "clip". There are no "automatic handguns" and if there were, they wouldn't be used by hitmen, the accuracy would be severely diminished and not stealthy by any means. The term he's looking for is semi-automatic, one bullet per trigger pull. And its called is called a "magazine" not a "clip".
You would think that an author who wrote a book about a hitman would at least know the difference between auto and semi auto weapons.

Historia
The New York Times best-selling author and master of the modern mystery returns with a fierce and poignant new novel featuring his acclaimed killer-for-hire, Keller. John Keller is everyone's favorite hit man. He's cool. Reliable. A real pro: the hit man's hit man. The inconvenient wife, the business partner, the retiree with a substantial legacy. He's taken care of them all, quietly and efficiently.

Do not like L. Block narration
Revisado: 08-29-21
Def. not the best. Really dislike the author narrating, each character sounds the exact same and it takes a lot of effort to figure out what character is talking.
Story was okay. Not as entertaining and engaging as prior novels. Love Keller and the series as a whole, this book just falls short.

Historia
Keller is a regular guy. He goes to the movies, works on his stamp collection. Call him for jury duty and he serves without complaint. Then every so often he gets a phone call from White Plains that sends him flying off somewhere to kill a perfect stranger. Keller is a pro and very good at what he does. But the jobs have started to go wrong. The realization is slow coming, yet when it arrives, it is irrefutable: Someone out there is trying to hit the hit man. Keller, God help him, has found his way onto somebody else's hit list.

misleading title
Revisado: 06-02-21
After reading the title of the book you would think that everything you need to wholesale is contained in this book. It is not.
While the information provided is valuable it does miss stuff that makes a difference. For example to properly execute a contract something of value needs to change hands. No where does he say when you get a contract signed that a deposit needs to be made.
What he is not short on recommending is self promoting his paid membership site. He gives you just enough to say he educated you on the topic but then recommends you join his group for "additional information".
Again, the information contained in the book is good but NOT complete as you are lead to believe by the title.
