Great book for island enthusiasts and divers
Revisado: 09-06-21
There are far too few well-written books that have scuba diving as an integral part of the plot - most that do are clearly not written by divers and contain embellishments or technical inaccuracies that spoil the fun for a reader who is a diver.
The narration of this book was very good, and engaging - the plot fast-paced and interesting. The descriptions of diving, underwater life and specifically the Island of Bonaire are all extremely accurate and ring true.
Very much enjoyed the book and look forward to more from the series.

And why would he choose to do so? An unprecedented collaboration between President Bill Clinton and the world's best-selling novelist, James Patterson, The President Is Missing is a breathtaking story from the pinnacle of power.

Extremely entertaining
Revisado: 06-20-18
Narration and production values are exceptionally good - Dennis Quaid has a terrific voice and is well cast for his part. All of the voice actors used in this production are very good, and using multiple voices takes this book up several notches.
Story is compelling, if at times requiring a lot of suspension of disbelief. As someone who has expertise in certain areas that play a role in the story, it was impossible not to note the way certain technical details were twisted to serve the story line, but not enough that I couldn’t just go along for the ride.
I listen to books for entertainment value and I was thoroughly entertained by this title.
Hard to tell what Bill Clinton contributed to the writing and story line, but James Patterson generally is an expert storyteller - and this book is no exception to that rule.

Historia
Mark, Todd, and Zola came to law school to change the world, to make it a better place. But now, as third-year students, these close friends realize they have been duped. They all borrowed heavily to attend a third-tier, for-profit law school so mediocre that its graduates rarely pass the bar exam, let alone get good jobs. And when they learn that their school is one of a chain owned by a shady New York hedge-fund operator who also happens to own a bank specializing in student loans, the three know they have been caught up in The Great Law School Scam.

Very enjoyable, not deep, excellent narration.
Revisado: 11-15-17
This is a story that like many of the recent Grisham books is a fast-moving story with an easy narrative. It held my attention and was easy to follow.
The narration and production values are exceptional and among the best I’ve experienced for an audio book production, which added significantly to my enjoyment of this title.

Historia
Paul Bernado and Karla Homolka were so perfectly iconic as a newlywed couple that they were dubbed "Ken and Barbie". But their marriage had a dark side involving sex, death, and videotape. The "perfect couple" first raped and murdered Karla's little sister then kidnapped teenage schoolgirls whom they enslaved, raped, tortured, and killed while gleefully recording themselves on video doing it.

Good story, poor narration
Revisado: 05-24-16
Don Kline's narration sounds stiff and awkward. Some words mispronounced, sentence flow stutters and restarts at times, breaking the flow of the story. His voice is pleasant enough, but sounds like he's struggling at times to read and recite the author's words.
