Historia
Gaia is dying. That, at least, is what Dr. Lionel Scott believes. A renowned expert in tropical and infectious diseases, Scott has witnessed the devastating impact of illness and turmoil at critical scale. Society as it exists is untenable, and the direct link to Earth’s death spiral; population levels are out of control and people have allowed disarray and disorder to run rampant. While most are concerned about deadly disease, Scott knows that it is truly humanity itself that will destroy Gaia.

This book isn’t a Lucas book.
Revisado: 05-03-24
So I’m a fan of the pray series, this book should be in the Letty series. If you read book 33 then grabbed this one you’ll be a little lost on some of the content referred to. Now if you read the two Letty novels before reading this one everything makes sense and you don’t feel like you missed something between books 33 and 34. Also this has more Letty than Lucas. This is the reason for the low star numbers. Also I feel that the character of Lucas was off in this novel. I know this lacks details about the novel, I don’t want to give any spoilers out.

Good plot
Revisado: 10-14-17
The plot is good with great twists. The summery said that the music in the back ground isn’t distracting, humm I had a very hard time listening to this book. Maybe it’s just me but the sound effects were very distracting which made it very hard to follow the story line.

Historia
Ripped from today's headlines, Brian Haig's new novel finds Army lawyer Sean Drummond caught between duty to Washington's elite and the soldiers in Iraq. Dispatched to investigate the suicide of one of D.C.'s most influential defense officials, an ardent, early supporter of the war in Iraq, Drummond and his female partner find themselves in the middle of a tug-of-war between Washington's most influential power brokers and his own personal allegiance to the soldiers dying overseas.

Great book, narration not so.
Revisado: 09-19-17
First off I started with book 1 with Joe Barrett narrating. With that said, I was accustomed to Joe and Sean's voice and demeanor. That set the stage for me. The previous book was narrated by Scott Brick and the shift was disappointing. I like Scott's style in other books but it's hard to get used to a new voice. Now with this book his voice is okay but doesn't fit with the series. The editing was horrible, and the miss pronunciation of words drives me crazy. Changing of chapters also drove me crazy. There were several where there were no gap between the last word and the next chapter announcement. I mean 0.00 seconds then there were times I thought the book stopped playing the gap was so long. I didn't time it but at least 10 seconds or longer. Very poor editing. Now about the book. This book was taken from actual events and added a very good fictional element. It lost the lawyer and courtroom we were used to from the first 2 books. This kept the suspense and twists going to the end with a possible carry over to a new book. Which I hope it does. I would prefer if they would go back to Joe for the narration. I also that the editing and production is better and never gets this bad again.

Historia
From coast to coast, the nation is witnessing a new wave of terror - suicide bombers incite blind panic and paralyzing fear, a flight attendant tries to crash an airliner, a police officer opens fire on fans in a stadium, and at CIA headquarters, a deputy director goes on a murderous rampage. The perpetrators appear to be American but are actually covert agents in a vast network of terror, selected and trained for one purpose only: the complete annihilation of America.

Great book. Mr Cameron has a brilliant imagination
Revisado: 08-29-15
This is a great read. if you like Tom Clancy or Vince Flynn you'll like this series. Jericho Quinn is shows skill and the human side of a real person. his larger than life partner brings the right amount of hummer to the story line . Thibodaux also brings the personal elements with him. I do like that he has a support team with Palmer and Ms Miyag. this is an exciting journey from page one.

Great book horrible audio
Revisado: 06-11-15
The book continues with the series which is great no real gap between the two books. The audio is horrible and the narrator miss pronounces a lot of words. The worst was m fifteen for mi5. Sometimes I wonder if there is any over site on the production or prof reading so to speak of some books.

Revisado: 05-28-15
I have listened to all of the Mitch Rapp series most is narrated by George Guidall he is perfect for this type of book. The story sets up the characters very well. This is a book that ends in a twist that I didn't see coming. If you like the mystery espionage type of books this is a must read. I am looking forward to reading "listening " to the next book in this series.
