This is a great book/the narrator did a wonderful job /why do blacks have to sound a certain way.The book was full of surprises.I loved the friendship,the caring of the characters. The story will make you think of your own values and loves.I wish that I had more friends that I shared and interest with.I enjoy crafts,knitting,and had the same feelings as K C.I hope the author can produce more books of the fine caliber.The narrator's voice was excellent and the speed was just right she read at a pace that allowed you to think about the story while listening.I enjoyed this literature and will reread again and again.Thank you Kate Jacobs

Wonderfully refreshing /Anna Fields is the only one who could have narrated this book.The professor and the dumb jock are too funny , I could not do any thing but laugh out loud.This book is so enjoyable and surprises in every chapter.I will purchase more from the author and narrator. Cant help but listen again and recommend to all.

i love the narrator as usual she is great this book is smooth yet exciting and yes i was looking for a happy ending. i listened straight thru.Nice to see black women being portrayed as sucessful women in such a diverse way.i read allers before.i would like to hear more from her on audible.com.This book is not just fluff,but fluff with substance.Very enjoyable characters.

parents ,choose this book.it is well written. i hung on to every word.The characters could be your children.It is enlightening and forces me to really listen carefully to my sons and watch for signs of happiness and downward moods.I tried to absorb every thought.Great book that really touches your heart. It will make you appreciate your children,your family,and friends.I will listen to this again. I enjoyed this emotional book and have purchased other books by the author
