The very best book on health, ever.
Revisado: 06-25-20
Knowledge about science and health has never been more important than in these dangerous times. These writers do a fantastic job at putting difficult concepts into language that anyone can understands. I've never heard or listened to a better book than this when it comes to health. She tells her own story of persecution and injustice and corruption and weaves in the science in that background. Guarantee you'll learn some valuable facts.. Sure, big pharma doesn't want this book read, nor does the government... I'm surprised it wasn't censored off Amazon and off the internet. Hooray for these brave writers.

Not one bit thrilling
Revisado: 07-29-19
I got "Pawn of Pharma" because it had high ratings from other readers. I can't figure out how anyone could have listened to this boring thing. I'd return it but I've had to interact with audible so much lately because of technical problems and I've already returned 2 books that were equally horrible.. Sigh.

Historia
From acclaimed author Ursula K. Le Guin, and with an introduction by Karen Joy Fowler, a collection of thoughts - always adroit, often acerbic - on aging, belief, the state of literature, and the state of the nation. Ursula K. Le Guin has taken listeners to imaginary worlds for decades. Now she's in the last great frontier of life, old age, and exploring new literary territory: the blog, a forum where her voice - sharp, witty, as compassionate as it is critical - shines. No Time to Spare collects the best of Ursula's blog, presenting perfectly crystallized dispatches on what matters.

Historia
On July 22, 2009, a special meeting was held with 24 leading scientists at the National Institutes of Health to discuss early findings that a newly discovered retrovirus was linked to chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), prostate cancer, lymphoma, and eventually neurodevelopmental disorders in children. When Dr. Judy Mikovits finished her presentation the room was silent for a moment, then one of the scientists said, "Oh my God!" The resulting investigation would be like no other in science.

It's getting harder and harder to find books that disagree with big money. "Plague" is one of those well written, well narrated books that proves it point down to the last detail. Read it while you can.

Cell phone madness
Revisado: 12-03-17
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
I didn't expect to learn anything new, and I didn't.
What was most disappointing about Elena Malykhina’s story?
They hinted that 5G will mean cell phone towers just about everywhere, one or two on every block, blasting away 24/7. But they didn't really spell it out.
Which character – as performed by Jef Holbrook – was your favorite?
Positive attitude invading our cities and homes.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
no
Any additional comments?
How much sicker can the population get. I guess we'll find out.

Historia
Ever since 9/11 America has fought an endless war on terror, seeking enemies everywhere and never promising peace. In Pay Any Price, James Risen reveals an extraordinary litany of the hidden costs of that war: from squandered and stolen dollars, to outrageous abuses of power, to wars on normalcy, decency, and truth. In the name of fighting terrorism, our government has done things every bit as shameful as its historic wartime abuses - and until this audiobook, it has worked very hard to cover them up.

Horray James Risen
Revisado: 01-28-17
If you could sum up Pay Any Price in three words, what would they be?
Adore James Risen. After Obama persecuted James Risen for 7 years in the court system, I would give anything by James Risen 5 stars. Truth is, though, this book is one of the most informative you'll read.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Pay Any Price?
it's been a while since I listed to this book, but I remember how I thought how impossibly out of control, irresponsible and ignorant the government officials are in the US Government.
What does Christopher Lane bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I listened to every word, where as in the printed book I might have skimmed over some of it.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Pickpocketing the USA.
Any additional comments?
It's been a while since I listened to this book. I liked it so much though, that I bought the printed version recently.

Why didn't she mention deregulation of the media
Revisado: 12-23-16
Where does Stonewalled rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
The one burning question remains, why didn't she talk about Bill Clinton's deregulation of the media so that only 6 corporations control everything we see, hear, and read.. how they also have overthrown the government.
What other book might you compare Stonewalled to and why?
On the topic of censoring, there aren't many books to compare it with. It's kind of amazing that "Stonewalled" was allowed to be published. Probably it's not marketed very well on Amazon.
Have you listened to any of Laural Merlington’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
She does well with all her performances, I would guess.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
I would only make a film of this book if General Electric and the other traitor corporations were named, over and over.

Historia
We expect our judges to be honest and wise. Their integrity and impartiality are the bedrock of the entire judicial system. We trust them to ensure fair trials, to protect the rights of all litigants, to punish those who do wrong, and to oversee the orderly and efficient flow of justice. But what happens when a judge bends the law or takes a bribe? It’s rare, but it happens. Lacy Stoltz is an investigator for the Florida Board on Judicial Conduct. She is a lawyer, not a cop, and it is her job to respond to complaints dealing with judicial misconduct.

I can't believe John Grisham wrote this
Revisado: 12-01-16
What disappointed you about The Whistler?
Before this book, all of Grisham's novels have held my attention and been fun to read/listen to. I don't recognize the Grisham writing style in this book.
What could John Grisham have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
He could write like John Grisham used to write.
What three words best describe Cassandra Campbell’s voice?
She is okay
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
It's a bunch of words, and a lot of dialog. Somewhere in there is a story but it's kind of hidden. I would expect Grisham to write a great novel if he were going to write about the horrible state of our judicial system.
Any additional comments?
The novel hasn't held my attention so I'm not entirely sure what it's about.

Why all the 5 star ratings?
Revisado: 09-30-16
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
Men and maybe women who have an interest in guns and war. Sociopaths and maybe TV watchers might like it.
Would you be willing to try another book from Larry Correia and Mike Kupari ? Why or why not?
Only if they would try their hand at another topic.
What does Bronson Pinchot bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I would never have read this far if it a print form.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Dead Six?
I'm not enjoying any of the scenes very much.

While anger is a normal emotion, when it goes unmanaged, it can wreak havoc on everyone else's life, including your own. Whenever you are unable to control the fits of anger, the end results are often destructive, leading to problems in personal relationships, at work, and overall affecting your entire existence. Anger can damage your relationships and health when you don't express it at all, if you express it unsafe ways, or if you express it at the wrong time.

Revisado: 09-15-16
Would you try another book from T Whitmore and/or Dave Wright?
Yes, if it were about something everybody didn't already know about. This book went over it ALL... like it was new stuff.
What could T Whitmore have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Found something new to say.
What about Dave Wright’s performance did you like?
He said it all like it was new material and just dragged me through it...
