Same Themes Over & Over Again

I enjoy this series overall. The narrator keeps me coming back she is excellent. Now we are on BOOK 11 and I really like Georgie but after 11 books she shows growth only in her detective skills yet she is still the naive, semi-helpless lady I met in book 1. It's getting OLD. As a historical fiction, why does the author miss or not mention all the changes in women's roles around this time? Yes Georgie is a lady/an aristocrat but why is she so naive and still caught up in "her" tiny world and ignore all the changes going on not just related to the war but the country. We saw a brief moment of Georgie being compassionate by serving in the soup kitchens but since then nothing.
Also, it's the same themes over and over again
1. Naive Georgie
2. Georgie is attacked every book (and never reports her attackers or fights back)
3. Georgie is waiting for Darcy to save her AGAIN
This is probably going to be my last book. Nothing new happens.

I am new to the series and enjoy the historical points and really like Georgie.
Though I am hoping she grows up and becomes an independent woman. I keep rolling my eyes at her being so despaired.
Please get rid of Queenie. She's not funny just annoying
