Historia
Jess needs a fresh start. She’s broke and alone, and she’s just left her job under less than ideal circumstances. Her half-brother Ben didn’t sound thrilled when she asked if she could crash with him for a bit, but he didn’t say no, and surely everything will look better from Paris. Only when she shows up – to find a very nice apartment, could Ben really have afforded this? – he’s not there.

Long, boring.

Historia
I almost didn’t publish Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends on It. Here I was, a CEO who’d fallen apart after his company failed, writing a book about how loving himself saved him. I thought I’d be a laughingstock and my career would be finished. But I stepped through the fears and shared my truth with the world. The book went viral. Amazing people all over bought copies for friends and family. For some, this book saved their lives. For others, it was the first time they ever loved themselves.

No need for a second book.
Revisado: 06-06-12
Would you try another book from Suzanne Collins and/or Carolyn McCormick?
Probably not.
What was most disappointing about Suzanne Collins’s story?
The Hunger games from book 1 cannot be recreated without the story getting boring. Unfortuately this is not the end. I see there is a third book, which I have to read for the story to reach a conclusion.
How could the performance have been better?
Hopefully it was just me, but I find Carolyn McCormick's voice annoying because of the constant changes in voice and dialect. Especially the voice of Haymitch is tiresome to listen to. Please just read!
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
Lets see.... quite believable characters.
Any additional comments?
I am hoping the story will come together after reading the third book.

Historia
As dusk approaches a small Dublin suburb in the summer of 1984, mothers begin to call their children home. But on this warm evening, three children do not return from the dark and silent woods. When the police arrive, they find only one of the children gripping a tree trunk in terror, wearing blood-filled sneakers, and unable to recall a single detail of the previous hours. Twenty years later, the found boy, Rob Ryan, is a detective on the Dublin Murder Squad and keeps his past a secret.

Never a boring moment in my opinion
Revisado: 05-10-12
Where does In the Woods rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Quite far up, could have been on top if it were not for one thing missing in the story.
What other book might you compare In the Woods to and why?
Chet & Bernie series, which also have a good narrator, great characters and a good storyline.
Which scene was your favorite?
When Cassy tells her partner about her past.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
He's back where it all started, only this time all alone in the woods with his terror....
Any additional comments?
I was greatly dissappointed over the first case not being solved!

Revisado: 02-06-12
If you could sum up The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner in three words, what would they be?
addition to twilight
Who was your favorite character and why?
Bree, because she is barely mentioned in the Twilight series and in the novella we get to know her better.
What three words best describe Emma Galvin’s voice?
A little annoying.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The end.
Any additional comments?
It's not necessary to make up a new voice or dialect when reading, it's quite annoying actually.
