What does it mean when it's not good enough to stay in a marriage or relationship but not bad enough to leave, either? And why isn't it possible to love someone for them? Great Read and Opportunity for Self Reflection
Revisado: 01-03-23
I listened to this book and thoroughly enjoyed it. Al is a phenomenal narrator and is talented in keeping the attention of listeners. His pacing, enunciation, and inflections are on par with some of my favorite audible narrators.
As for the content of the book. I have pondered human dynamics before, but never to this level. Al makes it so simple to understand with his concepts and examples. The subject that really hit home with me was "dealbreaker needs". It's not as simple as it sounds and sometimes we don't realize we have them until we aren't meeting them or they aren't being met for us.
I'd highly recommend this book to anyone that loves analyzing relationships. I look forward to more of Al's books.

Historia
It’s not easy making the career jump from office-supplies-store middle manager to heroic interdimensional adventurer. At least, Jason tries to be heroic, but it's hard to be good when all your powers are evil. He’ll face off against cannibals, cultists, wizards, monsters...and that’s just on the first day. He’s going to need courage, he’s going to need wit, and he’s going to need some magic powers of his own. But first, he’s going to need pants.

Easily one of my favorite series
Revisado: 05-23-22
I have absolutely fallen in love with this book. The way it takes an average guy from our world and dumps him in was done so well. The main character isn't some overpowered flawless god. He has his quirks and has solid growth throughout just trying to figure out how to live in this new world. I'm so excited that there are 4 others for me to listen to.
It's hard to say just on book 1, but this has the potential to be my favorite series of all time.
This is my first book narrated by Heath Miller and I am not disappointed. I will definitely listen to more from him as well.
