Starts off with N3 vocab. Then 10 min of just jap
Revisado: 02-04-24
This is not a language material. All the reviews are fake. Some admit to not using it.
10 minutes of a massively convoluted conversation about a taxi with tons of grammar nuances you won't find in an N4 level, with words you won't touch until JLPT N1 in some cases... then you get 5 minutes of a ton of words thrown at you, as if they didn't study language material.
The 2nd part does this too.
Then, you get vocab words thrown at you again. This is not learning material. This is probably a really good material for an N1 student to review with, but that's what it is.
JLPT N1-N5 is the standard. N1 being the highest. It's not necessarily a good standard, for it's grouped by usage and also not really good for forming connections in your head. But if you're going to deviate from the standard, at least use a learning method. Even the most basic language programs, which didn't study how the brain studies, at least practice a bit before moving on.
This language program is just about the equivalent of having a bunch of words thrown at your face. No particles, not even "wa" and "ga".
The lady was funny. She did a robot voice, then normal, then other. They put a lot of effort into this... but this is an example of what happens when you work hard without thinking. Kudos to the effort. I suggest trying out Michelle Thomas and other methods, to the creator. Learn how languages work, then remake the material, or break it down better.
This would make an excellent advanced program if they just broke things down in ways that let the person understand.
Watshi ni wa.... tabun N4-N3 gurai kaiwa o dekimasu. Kono manabu-program wa chiotto...

Did you know, according to a famous study - learning the top 1,000 most frequently used words will enable you to understand up to 87.8% of all oral speech? Quite incredible right? The problem is most students focus on learning the wrong vocabulary. The idea of reading dictionaries to increase vocabulary is the old way of learning. It’s boring, not arranged into topics, plus there’s pages and pages of words you’ll hardly ever use.

very good idea. But needs better speaking skills
Revisado: 10-14-21
The person who made this did many things right with the structure and ideas. But I absolutely can't recommend the butchered way they pronounce almost every word.

Book good, Jason can't pronounce English at all
Revisado: 01-26-20
So, I've used this book in real life. I've eventually realized the principles well enough to do healings. BUT, this particular book, the narrator pronounces Duality like "Duel itty" and that's only one of like 3 dozen examples.
Get the Unabridged version. Jason McCoy doesn't understand how to pronounce 2-syllable English words.
