Nothing really happens

I love to read in series. But each book should be a story in and of itself. This book feels like someone chopped the actual book into multiple parts and unfortunately this is that middle bit that is left. No real beginning, no real ending, just a lot of struggle.

Brought back my teen years and I loved the nostalgic journey. Thanks for that added bonus to a great book. Narrator was also a perfect choice.
