Historia
Colin is a druid on a mission. Namely, traveling to an alternate dimension where technology rules, to snag the tech he needs to save his friends in the Hellpocalypse timeline. At first, it sounds simple. He’ll slip through the timestreams, do a little sightseeing, and go home. Heck, it might even be fun to visit a world where actual superheroes exist. But for creation’s unluckiest druid, nothing is ever easy. When things go horribly wrong, Colin finds that his magic is almost completely on the fritz.

tired of short stories
Revisado: 05-15-24
I don't mind using credits for short stories and specially ones from this author I love his work but lately too many big openings have been left with the short stories. I feel it's just a way to build the reader out of more credits anyway great story of course can't wait to part two but if it's only going to be for a moment. it's not worth wasting my credits and money for it.

Middle ground
Revisado: 02-29-24
I enjoyed the story and that's what's more important. there were a few slow periods. I figured the book was going to be close to the eragon series and I was correct I was hoping the author would have taken it in a different style. but the books are enjoyable. the eragon series is still one of my favorites but this was a nice re-inductory to the world I love. look forward to seeing your up and coming works.

Historia
Tommy Phan is a successful detective novelist living the American dream in Southern California. One evening he comes home to find a small rag doll on his doorstep. It’s a simple doll, covered entirely in white cloth, with crossed black stitches for the eyes and mouth, and another pair forming an X over the heart. Curious, he brings it inside. That night Tommy hears an odd popping sound and looks up to see the stitches breaking over the doll’s heart. And in minutes the fabric of Tommy Phan’s reality will be torn apart. Something terrifying emerges from the pristine white cloth....

Fists, fangs, and fury. It's all a matter of balance when Jimmy Black, Charlotte's Vampire Master of the City, is tasked with discovering why a mostly bloodless, decapitated body shows up in a dumpster. After a little sniffing around, Jimmy uncovers problems he didn't even know he had. Like a murderous vampire running loose in the city.

good story good book as always but this one felt more like a fluff piece. it was your basic regurgitation of the previous six stories just with him finally killing Abby. the book just felt like it was missing something nonetheless still good read

Historia
Thomas Malone thought he'd seen it all during his 25 years in the Birmingham homicide division. But then they found the body of a woman suspended above the opening of the mineshaft known as the Vertical, blood dripping into the chasm below. At the bottom of that shaft, two clues - a typed manuscript and a business card, blank but for a name on the front and a single sentence on the back.

Historia
How lucky do you feel? Matthew Sellers revealed the truth of Limbus, Inc. to the world, and in his tales of time travelers, intergalactic beings, and human sacrifice, he thought he had told it all. But the story of the shadowy employment agency that operates on the edge of the abyss, always finding the perfect person for the perfect job - no matter what the cost - had only begun. This shared-world anthology continues the story of Limbus, Inc., as told by five masters of horror, fantasy, and science fiction.

interesting side story.. one note.
Revisado: 03-10-22
enjoy the book. the story on chapter 11. Jonathan Mayberry already released this one in one of his standalone side story. pretty much the same story but if I buy a new book I expect different stories. not one used for two different side story books. I know this one because it has joe ledger in it. not sure if it's a mistake but Mr Porter who does the series is the right voice. left a interesting idea on what we put into a voice.

Historia
In the absolutely packed Act II, the dark fantasy resumes and the Sandman expands into the French Revolution, ancient Rome, 19th-century San Francisco, eighth-century Baghdad, and beyond. New and familiar characters abound, voiced by a bright mix of performers, including Kat Dennings, Regé-Jean Page, Emma Corrin, Michael Sheen, Kristen Schaal, Brian Cox, John Lithgow, Jeffrey Wright, and so many more, including fan-favorite narrators Simon Vance and Ray Porter.

crappy act 2
Revisado: 11-12-21
normally I never leave just one star but compared to act one this is a good performance but has nothing to to do for the story so the first few chapters they go over where they left off from act 1 then they go on some side story like they ran out of material so they do a bunch of side stories in there to fill up the time I found myself losing interest in the book and wishing for it to be over with I enjoyed the side stories but trying to understand what game did dream and his younger siblings do even we start off with three where she goes to save NADA and then the games between them but then you go off on some tangent side thing maybe next time let the readers know that they're only going to get a taste of back to you with side 1.2.3.4.5 to follow and then in act 3 we may get around to whatever we wanted to do I mean what exactly happened here
