Turns out that The Bitch In the House was only half the story. Daniel Jones, husband of Cathi Hanauer, has rallied the men for the "literary equivalent of The Full Monty," in which a group of thoughtful, passionate, and often hilarious men lay it bare when it comes to their wives and girlfriends, their hopes and fears.

Has good parts but not interesting overall

The authors really build up the book in the preface but, unfortunately, they are in love with their creation and love is blind. There were only a couple of stories I got into and understood the points that the authors were trying to get across. The rest of the essays failed to engage me or convey any sort of emotion or idea. They were the sort of stories you hear on the subway and wish you had headphones to block out the annoying voices talking about things only their mothers and no one else would be interested in hearing.
