I really enjoyed the story, right up to the ending. I would've gone a different direction. other than that, I thought it was well done.

really enjoyed this book. I've been struggling to find a good gray man/orphan x type series this fits the bill nicely. The only bad thing is there's only 2 in the series on audible right now. If you like mitch rapp, evan smoak or court Gentry you'll probably enjoy this.

Do you remember when Amy told Sheldon that Indiana Jones was a pointless movie because the national still cgot the ark and Jones still had nothing at the end? yea that is this book exactly. Juba accomplished everything he wanted to except killing Kyle. Everything. and lived in the end. very disappointing

reacher is very hit and miss this is a definite miss. a pointless meandering story with reacher making some of the stupidest decisions that no one would make. there were times I was hoping reacher would buy it. just disappointing all the way around.

Apparently when you author a book that is written poorly you can just call it satire and people will say its fabulous. This book is ridiculously predictable at all times.

not bad up to a point

I liked this book, right up to the point the author showed that he feels women don't belong in special forces by taking the one strong female in the story and turning her into a crying school girl. You gotta love a misogynist author. I don't think the author is quite the individual he likes to be portrayed as.

Forced to Kill? not really

I really enjoyed the first book. I enjoyed this book right up to where you find out the only 2 people who told the truth to our intrepid hero was his best friend and the actual killer he was trying to catch. The "killer" is the guy who tortured him several years ago and was paid by the cia to stop torturing Mcbride and let him go but he didn't let him go and the cia had no intention of saving him, just like his dad. BTW the CIA hired him for this job then wanted to kill him for doing it and nate still has no problem with them or anyone else who out right lied to him including his girlfriend. The senator who started all of the mess gets off scot free. Mitch Rapp would've taken them all down, but Mcbride is definitely no Rapp. I will say, if you like bad 80's action movies where the hero kills 62 henchmen then get to the killer and says "I'm better than you so I won't kill you" then this piece of garbage is for you. In the end Montez goes to gitmo for 3 hots and a cot and a fairly comfortable life in a cell, and nate is still scared to death of him. Absolutely ridiculous. Do not compare this guillible twit to Mitch Rapp, Nathan Mcbride couldn't carry Mitch Rapps' luggage. The only decent part of this book was the performance Dick Hill did well with the trash he had to work with.

completely & utterly ridiculous

This is a complete waste of everyone's time. The story is barely believable. The characters are boring and literally stupid. I was rooting for the villain for most of the book. spoiler alert he gets done exactly what he wants done, because Aaron and Jenna had to keep everything a secret. By hour three I was hoping both would be shot dead just to end this stupid book. I see why this book was free. some how i still feel ripped off. Do yourself a favor avoid this a all costs.
