Great Book !!!
Revisado: 04-21-25
This book will hold your attention and you will learn so much about Earley society in Britain. I am a man and I really enjoyed this book. There’s intrigue violence and romance enough, but most of all the mystery is quite ingenious.

Historia
The relentless pursuit of high self-esteem has become a virtual religion - and a tyrannical one at that. Our ultracompetitive culture tells us we need to be constantly above average to feel good about ourselves, but there is always someone more attractive, successful, or intelligent than we are. And even when we do manage to grab hold of high self-esteem for a brief moment, we can't seem to keep it. Our sense of self-worth goes up and down like a ping-pong ball, rising and falling in lockstep with our latest success or failure.

Historia
So begins this suspenseful, impeccably researched history that draws on new access to diaries to tell the story of three men who were intimately involved with America’s decision to drop the atomic bomb—and Japan’s decision to surrender. They are Henry Stimson, the American Secretary of War, who oversaw J. Robert Oppenheimer under the Manhattan Project; Gen. Carl “Tooey” Spaatz, head of strategic bombing in the Pacific, who supervised the planes that dropped the bombs; and Japanese Foreign Minister Shigenori Togo.

Incredibly great book you must read it if you have any interest in history
Revisado: 01-03-25
The book reads like a thriller and throws new light on a period of history, which should not be forgotten it also shows men trying to handle a terrible situation! Even if you don’t love history, it’s a book you will not be able to put down my strongest recommendation. Read it!

Historia
Lady Violet has decided that life in noisy, crowded, busy London is simply not her cup of tea. Her search for a rural property to purchase must be set aside when she learns that Hugh St. Sevier has been accused of murder. Worse, the handsome physician is doing nothing to aid those trying to exonerate him. Though it requires outsmarting the magistrate, enlisting the aid of Sebastian, Marquess of Dunkeld, and literally poking around in the undergrowth, Violet is determined to prove her friend’s innocence—with or without St. Sevier’s cooperation.

The narrator Kirsten Potter is fantastic. You learn a lot about England. The story story is slowed above, but it’s worth
Revisado: 04-22-24
A little romance with your mystery and a little history, this is your read whether you were male or female. Lady Violet is a great character as is all the other. The puzzle is good. It’s a little slow to develop. It is worth the time to take some time to be with lady Violet and her latest puzzle. I strongly recommend it for people with the time to enjoy lady Violet and a little intrigued.
