Sarah Hastings is a rookie cop who works the night shift in Amber Forest, a small rural town nestled in the Western Pennsylvania mountains. Fun murder mystery with lots of moving parts

Suspenseful couldn't put it down

I listened to this on audible because I have two little ones and reading books is hard to do these days. I couldn't stop listening it kept me in suspense. I listened while cooking, doing chores and cleaning up from cooking. I absolutely hated when I had to put it down. I listened to it within three days because I had to find out what happened next. I love crime novels and this was a really good one. It had a plot twist I did not see coming. I hope to read more books by this author and hopefully this one will become a series. I'm already invested in Officer Hastings.
