Story is not consistent with authors’ norm. Narration was insistent.

I have read/listened to most of Milly Taiden’s books. Although, historically some are better than others, this story was clearly not up to Taiden’s standards. The plot was thin and the characters had very little depth. It’s almost as if someone else authored the book. Furthermore the 2 narrators were inconsistent with each other when discussing the name of one of the main characters. The child’s name was read as: Aleena, Elaina, and Alaina. Pick one name — any one —and stick with it throughout the book. Also, “wrecked havoc” and “reeked havoc” are not the same. And this was not the only mispronunciation. It’s like the narrators failed to pre-read the book before recording. I know this is nit picking, but I expected more and felt jipped.

Beginning is slow but we’ll worth the wait

I almost gave up on this book after the first 5 chapters. However, thereafter it tied the first chapters into a good funny book.

Good read, but the second book is better

Couldn’t finish it

I usually like this type of book. This one was too illogical and just plain wired.

Narration made it difficult to finish

Although the storyline is good (even though it was slow in areas) and I liked the book, every time the narrator said “wuff” as opposed to “wolf” it drove me nuts. It’s a small issue, but was terribly distracting.

I must admit that I wasn’t sure about this book after the first 3 chapters. However I’m glad I didn’t give up.

Much better than I ever imagined

I read a lot of books and quite frankly, I was getting bored. I loved this book! It is well written; the characters have depth; it keeps your interest from the beginning to the end; and the narrator was perfect for this book. Thank you!

Good but production of audiobook is abysmal

Who ever thought they edited this audiobook is mistaken. The out takes in the performance we’re not edited out. There are also several blank spaces in the performance. It e Wally compromised the enjoyment of the book
