Great story line
Revisado: 11-27-23
I love the complex story line. Not too confusing and not too simply. The love story isn’t too straightforward and leaves you wondering. I can’t wait to start book 2 in the series.

A heart-wrenching new novel from best-selling author Rebecca Yarros that examines the risks we take for love, the scars too deep to heal, and the endings we can't bring ourselves to see coming.

Real love and tragedy
Revisado: 11-01-23
This story constantly had unexpected twist. It was amazing to fall into this. My thoughts and emotions were all over the place. I feel like the author really poured her soul into writing the story. The voice actors were great. It really gives you a good connection with the characters.
I liked the mentions of historical situations. The fears and thoughts people had in those days seemed so real. There are also so many relatable situations the characters lived. Rebecca Yarros is a remarkable author. She constantly has me on the edge of my seat. I have now read many of her books and I can’t wait to read more!

Historia
Feyre, Rhysand, and their friends are still busy rebuilding the Night Court and the vastly altered world beyond, recovering from the war that changed everything. But Winter Solstice is finally approaching, and with it, the joy of a hard-earned reprieve. Yet even the festive atmosphere can't keep the shadows of the past from looming. As Feyre navigates her first Winter Solstice as High Lady, her concern for those dearest to her deepens. They have more wounds than she anticipated-scars that will have a far-reaching impact on the future of their court.

Great book
Revisado: 09-25-23
Loved the book but the music and sound effects were cheesy. I only listened to this version because the original one had a women voice acting the male parts and that made it harder to follow.
I wish they had a version with different voice actors.

Historia
Twenty-year-old Violet Sorrengail was supposed to enter the Scribe Quadrant, living a quiet life among books and history. Now, the commanding general—also known as her tough-as-talons mother—has ordered Violet to join the hundreds of candidates striving to become the elite of Navarre: dragon riders. But when you’re smaller than everyone else and your body is brittle, death is only a heartbeat away...because dragons don’t bond to “fragile” humans. They incinerate them.

Historia
It's been over a decade since Nora left her hometown of Scupper Island, Maine, and very seldom looked back. She's carved out a successful life in Boston, where no one knows her as the awkward girl with the delinquent sister and the dad who left, but a not-as-dramatic-as-it-sounds brush with death has her taking stock of her life. Inspired to reconnect with her prickly mother and snarky teenage niece, Nora returns home for the summer, where she's forced to face the people she's spent the last ten years trying to avoid.

Love the story but disappointed
Revisado: 05-11-23
Overall it’s a great story! The ending happened too fast. I feel unsatisfied. I’m left with many questions. I wish Voldemort had an ending as well. He was a big part of the story. No one likes to think of a man like that on the loose.

Historia
Delivering a rare book to a valued customer is definitely part of mild-mannered archivist Anna Whitfield's job description. You know what isn't? Protecting her precious cargo from midflight theft by the very pilot who is flying her to Half-Moon Hollow...while trying to appear as unappetizing as possible to the only other passenger, a vampire. Undead bookstore owner Jane Jameson could be waiting a very long time for her book. Possibly forever.

Different
Revisado: 12-11-22
Completely different setting for most of the story unlike the other books in this series. It was refreshing to have a good mix up. I can’t wait to read the next book which will be another new setting according to the summary.

Historia
Nola Leary would have been content to stay in Kilcairy, Ireland, healing villagers at her family’s clinic with a mix of magic and modern medicine. But a series of ill-timed omens and a deathbed promise to her grandmother have sent her on a quest to Half-Moon Hollow, Kentucky, to secure her family’s magical potency for the next generation. Her supernatural task? To unearth four artifacts hidden by her grandfather before a rival magical family beats her to it. Complication One: The artifacts are lost somewhere in vampire Jane Jameson’s occult bookshop. Complication Two: Her new neighbor, Jed Trudeau, keeps turning up half-naked at the strangest times....

All kinds of mythical creatures
Revisado: 12-01-22
I’ve enjoyed all 14 Molly Harper books I’ve read and can’t stop! The hilly Billy twang is a little irritating at times, but still a great story. I would suggest these books to anyone intrigued by vampires, werewolves, and all other mythical creatures.
