Loosely connected
Revisado: 07-01-24
This book has very little to do with Epstein and the title is deceiving. A lot of old facts well know regurgitated in this book. Very disappointing . I assumed it would delve in Epstein past which in itself would have been interesting.

Historia
When Michael Cohen's secret payoff to porn star Stormy Daniels on behalf of Donald Trump made Cohen look like a liability to the by-then-president of the United States, the end to their decade-long relationship came swiftly—with a knock on the door from the FBI. Soon, Cohen would find himself imprisoned—even though he had plenty of evidence to show he was innocent of most of the charges.

A lot of what Cohen says you hear on his podcast, Mia culpa. Cohen made some mistakes and paid for them. I hope he can move on and start to earn a good living again for his family.

Historia
The true story of what took place in Donald Trump’s White House during a disastrous 2020 has never before been told in full. What was really going on around the president, as the government failed to contain the coronavirus and over half a million Americans perished? Who was influencing Trump after he refused to concede an election he had clearly lost and spread lies about election fraud? To answer these questions, Phil Rucker and Carol Leonnig reveal a dysfunctional and bumbling presidency’s inner workings in unprecedented, stunning detail.

In words that might have been ripped from today's combat dispatches, Steven Pressfield, the best-selling novelist of ancient warfare, returns with a riveting historical novel that re-creates Alexander the Great's invasion of the Afghan kingdoms in 330 B.C., a campaign that eerily foreshadows the tactics, terrors, and frustrations of contemporary conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.

A great first person narrative of a soldier (infantry and then becomes cavalry) in Alexander

What is striking the similarities of the order of battle even in comparison to today. The description of the Afghan tribesman are fascinating.
