It's like she was speaking directly to me!

I cannot say enough good things about this book. I've struggled to get my house under control for years (yes, I am ashamed!). Listening to this helped immensely, as it made me realize I am not alone, I am not the only one who makes excuses, and I'm not the only one who struggles. It also gave me clear, defined steps to take to regain control of my space. I am still in the first week of the process, but have already made HUGE strides, and have noticed an incredible change in my house. What's more is that even my husband has noticed. It's not perfect, and it may never be, and there is still a lot of work left to do, but I feel much better about my house as a result of this and can't wait to implement additional steps in the coming weeks. Highly recommended!

Good, Comprehensive Overview
Revisado: 01-08-20
I would highly recommend this to someone who loves food and is looking to use it as a blueprint for food as medicine.
We've all heard the warnings about our health and the narrow-minded viewpoints of groups who like to target one particular type of food or one component of foods and eliminate those as a "quick fix". I love that this book avoids that whole narrative and instead gives a comprehensive overview of how food affects multiple facets of our health, concerning longevity, weight, overall mood, disease, etc. Written by the CEO for Whole Foods, there was significant mention of the store, but it is not portrayed as an advertisement for the store. There is also significant mention of scientific evidence, studies, and cultures around the globe that have proven the benefits of this type of lifestyle. I am excited to try it out!

Historia
The story of a student who went to extraordinary lengths - including living in a van on a campus parking lot - to complete his education without sacrificing his financial future. In a frank and self-deprecating voice, memoirist Ken Ilgunas writes about the existential terror of graduating from college with $32,000 in student debt. Inspired by Thoreau, Ilgunas set himself a mission: get out of debt as soon as humanly possible. To that end, he undertook an extraordinary three-year transcontinental journey.

OK for what it is, just not my style

I wasn't really into the content of this book. It's fine for what it is, but I'm into different types of stories. Also, I expected different content than what it was. I didn't exactly expect life adventures.
