Somehow I stumbled on a Utube video of your work and it resonated with me. I don’t want to overstate but you have become an essential part of my journey back to optimal health. I appreciate the literature you have to back up your suggestions and I’m eagerly following your advice. I too have been frustrated with “Medicine 2.0”. I just didn’t know how to articulate it and internalize it. Because of you I am well on my way embrace full accountability for my own well being and emotional health. Laura’s story is so beautiful! I’m so happy that she was reunited with her son after all those painful years. I was 15 when I had my beautiful daughter Leah in Florida December 14, 1974. During this time my family was breaking apart and I also had 3 little siblings to help my mother care for. My Dad was an severe alcoholic. But my mother said “well, one more mouth to feed. God will provide.” I kept my daughter who even as a young girl I had deep instincts of love and care for her. But sadly as she grew older we grew apart she moved to Hawaii 20 years ago and I married a man whom she did not like. I feel so sad that I don’t know my grandchildren and I am praying for a miracle that we will someday be right next door to each other. I too have spoken words of love to my younger self. This has been so healing. Thank you Laura for sharing your story. I know that hope is there for me and my daughter, too.

I felt sore for Harry. Many of the choices he has made were in service to his country. And yes I do believe he had choices. He was born to such privilege and wealth that it’s hard to believe he knows true suffering. His resplendent childhood in need of nothing makes me take his words with a grain of salt. Life can throw many heartaches but it seems to me Harry and Meaghan got what they wanted. All is sour grapes moving forward. He and his family will never have to worry where their daily bread is coming from. And it is my hope that he will reconcile with his father and brother. After all blood is thicker than water.
