I enjoy Rhys Bowen's other series so I thought I would give it a try. I really liked how she incorporated so many different plots into the story, although it was a bit hard to follow sometimes. If I was reading, I would know the chapter headings so I can follow who and where that chapter was taking place but as I listen, I often have it on in the background so I would have to rewind and relisten but it was totally worth it. #historicalfiction #interesting #plottwist #Tagsgiving #Sweepstakes

I LOVE all of Charlie Holmberg's stories and this one was no exception. While I am always looking at possible endings and expecting a twist, I never saw this one coming. I love Russian nesting dolls, which is why I gravitated to the story and bought it because of her magic tendencies. My six year old son LOVES this series. It is strange :-) but funny, I must admit. Along the lines of #CaptainUnderpants. There are actually 2 separate stories in here - each about 1 hour 15 minutes so it is a shorter listen. The main plot is that his older brother tried to kill his goldfish, but they brought it back to life and now it is a zombie who gets people to do whatever he wants. Yes, silly, but perfect for elementary age boys. #weird #funny #creepy #boyslife #Tagsgiving #Sweepstakes
