Historia
In 1820, a young farm boy in search of truth has a vision of God the Father and Jesus Christ. Three years later, an angel guides him to an ancient record buried in a hill near his home. With God’s help, he translates the record and organizes the Savior’s church in the latter days. Soon others join him, accepting the invitation to become Saints through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. But opposition and violence follow those who defy old traditions to embrace restored truths.

An Outstanding Narrative, Flawlessly Narrated
Revisado: 07-12-22
I love this book from start to finish and have listened to it multiple times. it is very accessible as it lays out the facts of the early history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
I cannot say enough about Hillary Straga's performance and wish she were the narrator of every book in my library.
A truly outstanding work in every respect.

Historia
This New York Times best seller is a thrilling account of one of the most pivotal moments in United States history. Six months after the Declaration of Independence, America was nearly defeated. Then on Christmas night, George Washington led his men across the Delaware River to destroy the Hessians at Trenton. A week later Americans held off a counterattack, and in a brilliant tactical move, Washington crept behind the British army to win another victory. The momentum had reversed.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would recommend this audiobook to a friend. It's so informative and engaging.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Washington's Crossing?
It was so impactful, I remember exactly where I was the first time I listened to it (on our drive to Los Angeles). I had previously been tired but was so engrossed in the book I was wide awake at 3am as we arrived at our destination.
What does Nelson Runger bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Nelson Runger's narration is superb!
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Engaging.... the rest is history.
