This book was a love story between Joseph, a boat stealing Russian gangster who gets involved in the music business and then falls for Marika, a singer who likes to swim who gets involved and signs a contract with an evil woman music producer. An adult love story definitely inspired by Little Mermaid. I listened to the first story in this series, Bought by the Beast which was obviously inspired by Beauty and the Beast. The stories are stand alone, but I'm glad I listened in order as Joseph is introduced in the first book. I had fun rewatching the Disney stories with my nieces, and then listening to these adult versions after my sister picked up the girls. I wish these stories were movies. Maybe they will make them.
A Native American girl is introduced in the second story which leads me to believe the next one will be a Pocahontas story. I hope it is.

A dark romantic, sexy and action-packed virgin beauty and Russian gangster beast. Great Story and narration. I can't wait to listen to the next book in this series, Sold by the Siren.

Great Story! Great Narration!

This story was a sexy Beauty and the Beasts thrill ride with the Reaper gang being the beasts and Stevie being the beauty. I already thought of Nikki Monroe as the best female narrator I've listened too and thought she couldn't get better as a narrator, but somehow she did it, and really brought Stevie and all the characters to life even more than usual. Corvin Kink is a new narrator to me and did a great job as the Reaper gang and paired well with Nikki Monroe.
This is also the first story by Jessa Halliwell I've listened to. I will listen to the next in this series and more as soon as I can.
I highly recommend listening to Fear the Reapers Lovesick Villains, Book 1. It was well worth the credit.

Mystery, enemies to lovers, shifters! Great story by Skye Wilson. And Nikki Monroe brought the story to life with her narration. Well worth the credit. I highly recommend this audiobook.

Not just Hot! Not just sexy!

This story wasn't only hot and sexy but had a really good plot too. The narrator was great. Her voice was not just sexy, but her portrayal of the characters was believable. This was the best reverse harem audiobook I have listened to and one of the best erotica audiobooks I've heard overall.

Scary Realistic Great Story.

First. Grandma was the best! Great story, if a bit scary in today's times when criminals are let go almost immediately after committing violent crimes. Protectors are portrayed as corrupt thugs when less the one percent are bad, including the ones that made terrible mistakes: While a larger percentage of criminals, including drug dealers and terrorists, are permitted to come across our borders along with many good people who are being abused along the way because our current administration says, "Come here so you can vote for us and make this country as terrible as the ones you're escaping from." Eventually, people of all backgrounds, no matter the color of our skin, will hopefully wake up and see the division being caused throughout the world so we can come together before We fall apart.

Wonderful story with beautiful duet narration!

My bf and I listened while traveling to a much needed getaway . We got to our destination and usually we stop listening to a story after a long drive, until we begin our return trip. Not this one. We had to keep listening. Our view from the nearly empty resort overlooked a foggy forest which enhanced this lovely paranormal story for us. The story of a young American woman travelling abroad in Victorian times to find hatred, horror, and love, was beautiful and done in a wonderful duet narration. I'm not always a fan of special effects in audiobooks, but there was just enough, not over done, and done very well.
I highly recommend listening to this collection, even if your not overlooking a spooky forest.

Walking & talking to statues in the park one day

We used to travel to and walk and play in Central Park. George J Robinson's story pleasantly brought us back there. My kids just like one of the characters enjoyed listening and didn't realize they too were learning while the statues were entertaining us with stories of their true history. Listening was just as as good as being there again, well very close anyway, especially how the narrators Glen Russo and Brianne Vega voiced the statues and brought them all to life. What a nice story in a time when we can all use one.

Loved it! I can't wait to listen to Carbon!

I just finished listening to Watcher and can't wait to listen to Carbon, and then Savior! AJ Eversly wrote a great Dystopian story in the Watcher and I loved the dual narration. Stephens and Campbell brought me to the world and brought it to life! Great job all around! I loved it!

Great story and great narration. I usually know who the bad guy is in a story like this, but I didn't know until it was revealed. I appreciate that. I recommend this listen. I will listen to the next book soon.
