Historia
The Carls just appeared. Coming home from work at three a.m., 23-year-old April May stumbles across a giant sculpture. Delighted by its appearance and craftsmanship - like a 10-foot-tall Transformer wearing a suit of samurai armor - April and her friend Andy make a video with it, which Andy uploads Online. The next day April wakes up to a viral video and a new life. News quickly spreads that there are Carls in dozens of cities around the world - everywhere from Beijing to Buenos Aires - and April, as their first documentarian, finds herself at the center of an intense media spotlight.

Great every time!
Revisado: 07-27-22
I’ve read and listened to this book multiple times and have enjoyed it each time. The story is so fun and the commentary on how we handle change, conflict, and social celebrity is incredibly relevant. Highly recommend!

Historia
Miss Chloe Fong has plans for her life, lists for her days, and absolutely no time for nonsense. Three years ago, she told her childhood sweetheart that he could talk to her once he planned to be serious. He disappeared that very night. Except now he’s back. Jeremy Wentworth, the Duke of Lansing, has returned to the tiny village he once visited with the hope of wooing Chloe. In his defense, it took him years of attempting to be serious to realize that the endeavor was incompatible with his personality.

Delightful
Revisado: 05-27-22
I haven’t been inspired to write a review in a while, but this book was so enjoyable I had to. The characters are endearing, the story is interesting, the banter is wonderful, and the performance engaging. I highly recommend a listen (or two)!

Historia
Eli knows corruption runs deep within the compound. It's a reality he's forced to confront every year on Bid Day. But when your job is to go out into the radiation-soaked Fringe so that others can live in peace, you don't ask too many questions. For Harper, the bid system works just fine. She's the best developer in her year, and she's confident she'll find a place among the wealthy, respected Systems workers. But when an upset in the bidding changes the course of Harper's future, she'll be forced to rely on an unlikely ally.

Really fun listen
Revisado: 05-23-16
I really enjoyed Benner's Recon. The narrators did an excellent job. I was so into it, it was hard to press pause. Though Recon has similar elements to other popular dystopian series, Benner has successfully created her own, believable world. I just wish there was a bit more backstory, but I'm hoping to find out in the next book! It's a great, fun listen
