Historia
It's been over a year since all the adults disappeared. Gone. In the time since every person over the age of 14 disappeared from the town of Perdido Beach, California, countless battles have been fought: battles against hunger and lies and plague, and epic battles of good against evil. And now, the gaiaphage has been reborn as Diana's malicious mutant daughter, Gaia. Gaia is endlessly hungry for destruction.

ALWAYS QUESTION THE ANSWERS
Revisado: 04-22-16
What did you love best about Namaste: The Whole Story?
A truly mind-searching story. When someone says to you "THEY SAY....." do you ask "who are THEY?" And when someone says "IT IS WRITTEN" do you ask "but WHO wrote it?" And who is to say what THEY have WRITTEN is really the answer? No? Then maybe you should.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
What held my attention was the descriptions of each of the body guards while they were waiting for someone to make the first move.
Which scene was your favorite?
The ending was surpurb. Just as it should have been.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Yes. The bank scene when he is told he's dressed like a pimp and he was surprised. I was touched and amused by his bewilderment.
Any additional comments?
Exceptional writers and comforting narration. Thanks to all who made this story memorable.

Book #1 in the Criminally Insane series.

TOTALLY CONSUMING FROM START TO FINISH
Revisado: 04-21-16
What made the experience of listening to Bad Karma the most enjoyable?
Liz Thompson is an excellent narrator. To me, the narration is the key to any audible book, but especially one that is as expertly written as Bad Karma.
What other book might you compare Bad Karma to and why?
The book that comes to mind is Mind's Eye by Douglas Richards, because of the way the main characters could "read" others in an unnatural way. Very compelling and mezmerizing.
Which character – as performed by Liz Thompson – was your favorite?
I think my favorite character was the villain Agnes. Given her history, it wasn't surprising she turned out like she did. I could almost feel her pain.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It often made me visualize Hannibal Lecter in Silence of the Lambs, except she had a drape over her face instead of a mask.
Any additional comments?
Hats off to Douglas Clegg! This is the kind of story that makes time fly by unnoticed. Keep up the good work. And my heartfelt thanks for choosing an excellent Narrator. Too many writers don't and, as a result, good books are ruined with bad translation.

Historia
Zack Lightman has never much cared for reality. He vastly prefers the countless science-fiction movies, books, and videogames he's spent his life consuming. And too often, he catches himself wishing that some fantastic, impossible, world-altering event could arrive to whisk him off on a grand spacefaring adventure.

I WANT TO MARRY WIL WHEATON!
Revisado: 04-12-16
What made the experience of listening to Armada the most enjoyable?
Wil Wheaton is by far one of the top narrators on the planet. After hearing Ready Player One, which I immediately insisted my 46 yr old son listen to (those games were his childhood for sure), Armada was a no-brainer. Again, Wil was surpurb. I WANT MORE!
What did you like best about this story?
In my opinion the best thing about Ernest Cline's stories is the way he brings his characters, male, female, dog or alien, to life. The emotions and personality of each one becomes so vivid, you can't help but see them in your mind's eye.
Have you listened to any of Wil Wheaton’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes. As mentioned above, my first experience was Ready Player One. This was my second experience and it was just as enjoyable and believable as the first. WIL WHEATON ROCKS!
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Absolutely! It took me two sittings, but only because I forced myself to stop and save the last 2 hours. Then I was disappointed that it was over. I WANT MORE!
Any additional comments?
Ernest Cline couldn't have picked a better narrator. And I can't wait to hear his next adventure. Thank you Mr Cline.

Worst Narrator Ever
Revisado: 03-02-16
What disappointed you about No Hiding Place?
The narration was appalling. My 11 yr old granddaughter could have put more feeling into reading it.
Would you ever listen to anything by M. A. Comley again?
Not if she hires Charlotte Anne Dore to narrate. What a really poor choice.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
I felt as if she was reading the story for the first time and had no idea what was going on, so she put emphasis in the exact wrong places. And her voice is irratating to the nerves.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
I'm sure I could have enjoyed it if I had been reading it instead of listening to it.

Laughed Till I Cried - It's That Good
Revisado: 02-19-16
Where does A Demon Bound rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Definitely in the top 10. And that's saying something considering I'm addicted to Audible and have listened to close to 150 audiobooks since I signed up in 2014.
What was one of the most memorable moments of A Demon Bound?
One of the most sincere moments is when her dog is attacked and Wyatt freaks out.
Have you listened to any of Angela Rysk’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No, I haven't had the pleasure of listening to any other of Angela Rysk's performances, so I can't compare them. And to be completely honest, I wasn't sure I cared for this one at first. Her reading seemed slow and drawn out and slightly annoying. I think the fact that the story was so amazing is what changed my mind. It wasn't long before I forgot to be annoyed and instead became tickled as my mind visualized Sammy's enjoyment at shocking people with her nudity and antics.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Absolutely, although I allowed myself 3 sittings and forced myself to do more urgent tasks like grocery shopping, laundry, and housework. I suppose I could have carried my laptop around the house with me, but when I am enjoying a story as much as I did this one, I wasn't in a hurry for it to be over.
Any additional comments?
I hope Debra plans to keep Sammy going. She (Debra) has a great gift for story telling and, no doubt, will be writing for a long time. BRAVO DEBRA! You've got a huge fan in California.

A Heartwarming Tale for Any Age - Brilliant!
Revisado: 01-04-16
Would you listen to Breakthrough again? Why?
Absolutely! There wasn't a dull moment in the entire story.
What other book might you compare Breakthrough to and why?
I think the story that comes to mind is Close Encounters of the Third Kind because of the incredible heartwarming feeling it gave at it's "breakthrough" moment. The feeling that said "the world would never be the same again", and made me look forward to finding out what comes next.
Which scene was your favorite?
I really couldn't say without spoiling the story for those who haven't read or listened to it. But I can say with all certainty, none were disappointing.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
A City Beneath the Sea
Any additional comments?
Michael C Grumley, I applaud you! If it were possible to give 10 stars, I would be glad to give them to you. I can't wait to see what comes next.

Bellie Laughs and Tears Abound
Revisado: 11-01-15
Would you consider the audio edition of Fuzzy Navel to be better than the print version?
Didn't read the printed version, so I can't honestly compare. But my guess is the audio version is better.
What does Susie Breck and Dick Hill bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The Chicago accents add a glorious, perfect touch that the printed version couldn't possible have. I haven't laughed out loud this much in a very long time.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The ending..... or, more accurately, what must be the beginning of the next book, makes me want to immediately continue the story.
Any additional comments?
I'm addicted to Audible and have listened to at least 50 or 60 books in the past year and a half. Fuzzy Navel, is, no doubt, in the top 5 most entertaining of all of them, and I attribute that to Susie Breck and Dick Hill for their outstanding performances from beginning to end. Of course, they had a spectacular author to work with. J.A. Konrath has the ability to put you in the moment and keep you there throughout the entire story. Every scene is visible to the reader. Bravo!

It's the week before deer hunting season, as close to a statewide holiday as you get in Texas, and the locals are getting restless. Game Warden John Marlin has his hands full with poaching complaints coming in faster than he can write out-of-season tickets. Then a call of a different sort comes in. A man dressed up in some sort of deer costume has been shot at the Circle S ranch, and witnesses are reporting a massive wild-eyed buck prancing about the pasture in a lovesick frenzy.

Highly Entertaining
Revisado: 09-26-15
What made the experience of listening to Buck Fever the most enjoyable?
The distinct Western twang and Columbian accent that Johnny Peppers gave each character was spot on.I could see each person clearly in my minds eye, even the women.
Who was your favorite character and why?
My favorite character had to be the 300 lb bumpkin. He had me laughing out loud more than once.
Which scene was your favorite?
I got a big kick out of the discovery of vet in the dear costume after he was shot. Or later when he was sent to tranquilize them.... tranquilize one dear, snort one line LOL
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I think when the game warden let the poacher slide because he knew the man would use every oz of his kill to feed his family.
Any additional comments?
This story was enjoyable from beginning to end. Hat's off to Ben Rehder for a job well done. I'll definitely be reading more of his work in the near future.
