Good listening story
Revisado: 02-04-13
What made the experience of listening to Pushing Ice the most enjoyable?
The story is really well written
What did you like best about this story?
The storyline
What about John Lee’s performance did you like?
I just am not too fond of his readings, he makes everthing sound like an old time Shakespheare play. Not that there is anything wrong with that but it just does not fit with all stories. He is well versed but his voice just does not work for me with these science fiction stories.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
No it was a solid book.

Historia
Long, long ago, two alien races fought a war of extinction. All that is left of either of them are the berserkers: vast, thinking, spacefaring, killer machines whose sole purpose is to destroy all living things. For the first time in all of their history, they have met a life-form that has a chance of stopping them. In the cold reaches of space, the berserkers seize a floating laboratory full of human germ-plasm being stored for retrieval and growth in a future colonization project. The ship contains millions of human lives - but why are they not destroying them?

Historia
Ensign Andrew Dahl has just been assigned to the Universal Union Capital Ship Intrepid, flagship of the Universal Union since the year 2456. Life couldn’t be better…until Andrew begins to pick up on the facts that (1) every Away Mission involves some kind of lethal confrontation with alien forces; (2) the ship’s captain, its chief science officer, and the handsome Lieutenant Kerensky always survive these confrontations; and (3) at least one low-ranked crew member is, sadly, always killed.

Amazing Book
Revisado: 07-02-12
What did you love best about Redshirts?
The thing I loved best about Redshirts is how it takes the story of the most killed characters in the science fiction genera and brings them to life. This is the story of the characters you never hear about but see in every episode. The narration is excellent and I loved the comedic parts of the story overall.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I loved all the characters, I felt really attached to them, they were really believable in the way that they acted in the story.
What about Wil Wheaton’s performance did you like?
Wil does an amazing job of not just reading, but putting the emotions into what he reads. He is able to convey the emotions of each character and it is easy to tell what character is speaking based solely upon the way that he portrays each of them.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I think the ending was the best, in the way that it tied the entire story together in three parts.

Hard to put down
Revisado: 12-22-11
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
This book on Steve Jobs is as close as anyone is ever going to get to the actual person. There is a lot of hype on Steve and many people who profess to know him, but this book makes you feel like you lived around the man.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Steve Jobs?
I loved the stories of Steve and Woz. Having listened to iWoz as well I was fascinated to hear both sides of the same stories.
What about Dylan Baker’s performance did you like?
He had the attitude of Jobs in this book, very realistic.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No it was a good book to take in over a longer period of many sittings.

Well worth the money or credit.
