Historia
When Ben Sheridan is released from prison in 1936, he returns to his hometown to lead a simple life. Although he's paid his debt to society, he's never forgiven himself for the unthinkable act that forced him to take the life of his step-brother over a decade before. Storekeeper Heather O'Malley has never played the victim, but she's still a "scarred" young woman. She seizes the opportunity to help Ben restart his life, in part to atone for her silence about the events that sent her rescuer to prison.

Hooked
Revisado: 12-02-19
Loved this book! I couldn’t get enough of this series and Tied Together was a great ending to the series. Each book can be read as a standalone.
Ben Sheridan has been realised from jail. His crime was to stop an innocent girl being targeted by a evil man. Now Ben needs to put this life back together. He’s not welcome in his mother’s home and he feels like an outcasts in his own town.
Heather was just a child when Ben went to prison. She was scared of the events that happened that dreadful night. One look at Ben and she wants to help him anyway she can.
With love, murder and a ugly mystery to solve Tied Together is a roll a coaster ride.
I listened to this book via Audible. The narrator was really good and the story had me hooked to every word.

Audiobook book.
This story was short but sweet. Elinor has a new job and is moving to the magical town of snowflake valley. Her new job involves finding the heart of the town. An advice column sounded like an easy task but Elinor soon realised she’s going to need to dig around for some of the answer.
With romance and a loveable town, this is a fun story.
I will definitely be reading more by this author.

Will you visit OZ?
Revisado: 10-26-19
This works really well as an audiobook. It brings the story to life. Every word, touch and thought cane to life.
The land of oz has a new visitor. A relation of Dorothy with her very own ruby red shoes. Ella’s grandmas caused quite the storm in her fantasy world as well her the real one. Ella has heard the stories, but now her grandmother has gone she needs to live the adventure.
This is intended for an adult audience. If the shoe fits the magic will follow. This is book one is a trilogy. It has the magic of oz, but the romance of a modern day fantasy novel.
This was something different. It wasn’t what I was fully expecting, yet the tale of the girl in the red shoes is intriguing. There is hints of the plot thickening and the story has just begun, and it does end with a cliffhanger.
An old tale with a new twist. I always say this but it’s hard to taste a book with no ending. It has adventure, mystery, romance and a few modern day quirks.
Recommended.

Irish pixie magic. A group of friends are chosen to become love pixies. They have a mission and magic to learn. I enjoyed this book. It was long and supplied a lot of background story which I felt was unnecessary but overall a fun read. Rosie O’Toole is a very good narrator and enchanted the story.
This is fun, entertaining and has an amusing charm to it.

Awesome series so far
Revisado: 08-07-19
Audiobook. I had a break between books 1 and 2. I have to say I missed Lindsey’s quirks. A death in duck is yet again a murder wrapped around Lindsey but this time she’s on her own. The police aren’t as close to the truth as she is.
Lindsey is a helper of god. She offers support to families in time of need. After her aunt is found dead Lindsey needs to unravel her own mystery to find the truth. With a blooming wedding, an adopted dog and a deadly secret this is one crazy ride. These stories are well passed and the narrator reads beautifully. This book just like the first feels like Lindsey is trying to understand her heritage. The town and it’s people offer more than cups of tea.
I really like this series. I’ve been listening to it in the car which is perfect. A full stint of 45 minutes at a time works great. The book is written in a way that makes you care about the characters but don’t see the twists coming. Very enjoyable. 5 out 5. I liked this one slightly more than the first but I think it’s partly because I missed the story and I’ve grown attached to the characters.

Absolutely loved this as an audiobook. I this is my first romance. I usually listen to Cozy mysteries or mythology.
Cara has never moved on from her divorce. She’s has two beautiful daughters but feels her life isn’t going on a direction. Lucky for her one man is about to change everything.
Her class reunion is coming up and she wants to look good. Finn is a guy who she meets at work and he ends up helping her. He’s younger, fitters and easy on the eye. Cara doesn’t see the things he sees in her. Finn is about to help her make everything fall into place.
ARC. My review is my own and honest.

Revisado: 07-02-19
Audiobook review.
A murder in Mount Moriah works really well as an Audiobook. Holly Adams reads it perfectly. The book is fairly lengthy and has a lot of detail. The author creates a town and a community for the reader to love. This works well as an audiobook however I’m not sure it would have been as interesting if I can read the book.
Lindsay is our main character and in the centre of a storm. During a war reenactment a man is killed. Now the history of the town will be called into question to solve the case.
Lindsay works as a chaplain and feels it’s her duty to find the truth. With twists and turns at every corner it’s time to discover a scandal worth murdering for.
This is available on Kindle Unlimited also and is part of a series. Our main character is looking for her own happy ending which I’m guessing will continue through the books.
4.5 stars out of 5. *I received an arc in exchange for an honest review.

Revisado: 06-07-19
The narrator of Remnants of Ash read this book with an addictive passion. I’ll admit I haven’t read many Fae stories but I really liked this book.
The world as we know it is being torn apart by fae. Chloe sees the start of the end when her professor is killed not so accidentally. Now she needs to find a way to set things right. The task seems impossible but with the help of a fallen fae an adventure unfolds. With magic, romance and the overshadow of death Chloe and Bram set out to save the human world.
This is the start of a series and is a continuous story. I really enjoyed this but it will leave you wanting more.

Revisado: 05-29-19
The wonkiest witch works perfectly as an audiobook. The descriptive writing helps build the story so it feels like a movie in your mind. Kim Bretton’s London accent works fabulously with the story. Her voice is quick paced and kept me engaged in the story right to the end.
This is a Cozy Mystery which is my new sweet. I’ve only read a few but I’m loving this genre. Wonky Inn is a series which I definitely want more of luckily for me there are more books already out and they are available on Kindle Unlimited.
Alfhild has turned her back on magic. She chose to enjoy the mundane life. When she inherits property she didn’t know exists she sets off on a new adventure. The wonky inn has a charm that appears to Alfhid but the body she finds puts a dampener on her plans. She has a mystery to solve and a town to infiltrate. Magic is the key to unlocking the secrets and the Wonkiest witch needs all the help she can get.
The main character Alfhid is a loveable character and I enjoyed her story. This is a full-length novel with a happy ending. I enjoyed every minute. Highly recommended.
