Beneath the burn will draw you in and not let go. Charlie and Jay meet at her tattoo parlor one night after a show his band performed. He was looking for a way to chase away his demons for the night and decided a tattoo was the best option. He was drawn to Charlie from the moment he met her. Charlie was hiding from her own demons and knew a kindred spirit when she saw one. She was hopeful that her art would help Jay settle some. Charlie was running from a man who kept her enslaved. This book was full of heat and drama. Charlie got captured by the man who enslaved her again. Everyone was told she was dead. She later escaped with help and a few years later got to see Jay again who never forgot her. Charlie and Jay had to fight threw their personal demons as well as trying to avoid and keep her safe from the man who wants to keep her. You will be kept on your toes wondering if Charlie will ever be free. Will Jay ever be able to overcome his past and let go of his vices he uses to drown the demons out? You will not be able to put this one down!!

The narrator did an awesome job of bringing the book to life and drawing me in. As with all the clan books there is a ton of action and romance to keep you entertained.

This book was a fun book to listen to. The narrator did a great job of bringing the book to life. Carla is tough as nails and knows what she wants. She is set on marring into the clan to escape her father especially since she has found a kind man to marry. Their courtship has some issues but they fight threw them to get the marriage they want.

This book was amazing. Bethany had changed every part of herself for her husband. On their anniversary she discovers that he was having an affair. She left him and went to her best friends in Miami. While staying at a hotel her husband found her and beat her. She went to stay at Natasha’s house where she met Leon. Leon fell right away and knew that there was something special about Bethany. He helped her and in the process they fell in love. They had to go through a lot of obstacles along the way. The narrator did a flawless job and made the story come alive!

Loved the end of this series

This last book in the series had a great storyline. Rebecca and the rest of the legion had to face down the president so that they could bring about change by instilling a new president that would help all people. They want the boundary walls taken down so that all people can get help and support not just those deemed suitable by the new united sates.

This second book in the series was full of so many different emotions. The legion had to endure a few different battle throughout this story where some of them did not make it back. Rebecca struggles with the responsibility she feels through each loss that she is forced to endure as the leader of the Legion. Her group happened to stumble into another group in the wastelands that helped to teach them that not all of the deranged are hopeless so they spent some time with the other group trying to help others. Reed and Rebecca had some major ups and downs in this book. I can’t wait for the third book to find out what will happen next.

Legacy is an exciting story. The author took the time to lay out plenty of background so that the listener could better understand the characters. Overall the narration was good but there where some points where it seemed a little flat or robotic in the reading.

I absolutely loved this story. The narrator does an amazing job of pulling the listener into the story. The author wrote a great story that leaves the listener constantly wondering what will happen next. The story is funny, sexy, and full of excitement. I can't wait to listen and read the next book in the series to find out what happens next!

Hilarious

Troy and Larson both come across as being jerks who only care about themselves at first. It took a bit of time to see how deep they really are and to begin to like them. The snark and arguing are hilarious and great foreplay. I would definitely recommend this story for everyone who loves a good jerk well really two.
