Overdramatized, No chapters, overpriced.

I don't know why it has such a high rating. I fell for it. This Bible does not only lack chapters but it doesn't even pronounce them, at least other audio books will say " Mark chapter 4", not this one, you will know you're entering another chapter by the long pause.

My other major concern is they skip certain words of the Bible, like for example if the actual verse goes: "The Lord said, 'go and tell this people, hear ye and and understand not'" the narrator will skip straight to the words of the Lord and expect you to figure it's the Lord's words from the person speaking. they will skip any speaker's words even if the Bible actually says the speaker's name.

It seems the producers were much more concerned with making a movie rather than dramatize by reading word by word.

There are free audio Bibles that are accurately dramatized such as faith comes by hearing. This one is overpriced and poorly done. waste of money.

The Kikuyu readers are very experienced and read the bible fluently and very nicely. However, I was looking for a dramatized presentation where different speeches are read by different people, this is not it.

Another disappointment I have is the version of the bible they are using; It seems to be a revised version because it is missing some important verses; for example, in Luke 9.55 It reads: "But he turned, and rebuked them"

My hardcopy version reads; "But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them."

The free dramatized bible in Faith comes by hearing has the full passage.
